I have the Duo SDs in 300b+845 Tubeamp with r2r Leadder DAC wirh HQDesktop Upsampling so the Gustard R26 can perform in No Oversampling Mode. And i have to.say that it is pure magig. I LOVE IT.

Still keeping my ProAc 2.5's. Me? No matter how large/exotic the speaker may be, the performance should the correct size. The environment (room, studio, unplugged , Street corner, or outdoor characteristics...I got to hear that...hear it all. Even the silence of space between instruments. A sax, is not powered by a wind tunnel acoustic guitars are not 20ftx30ft. So...there is that part. My "why" I opt for Hi- End.

Not to say I told you so....but? Dali's are "getting there". If you can't hear the difference, just go out and buy some Sony speakers. High-End not for you.

Dali's sound objectively better and accurate, horns just have shouty mids and are in your face, but sound colored. With some music these speakers would be horrible and unlistenable. Dali's sound great with everything.

​​​@@derbigpr500In the right setup, they are not shouty in any music genre, and the live and dynamic sound they reproduce cannot be matched by any box speaker. I've heard that Dali at shows, I think it sounds slow and dead compared to Avantgarde horn speakers.

By the way, The two completely different sound of Dali and Avantgarde in these videos are due to two different records of Pink Panther that have been in playback, the first one is related to Henry Mancini and the second one with Avantgarde is related to Markusphilippe.
