YES!!!!! I have been trying to find out what this movie was for almost 30 YEARS!!!.. I remember watching some of this back in high school. Our class never had time to finish the whole movie. I have been trying to remember what this movie was ever since. The only part that I have been able to remember was 1:24 to 1:35 . I have been asking people for many years if they know of "a movie that has a scene where a man is laying down in a bed (maybe at a hospital?) and disappears in a big ball of light". Nobody I asked has remembered it or been able to help me find it... BUT FINALLY after ALL of these years, THIS IS IT!!!

The travel they did do is witnessed by those kids grown up. One guy went back to Mauntok and retrieved some of the equipment and still photographs. There's certain years they can do things. You will notice 1983 is consistent in these stories. Then they have to wait again. For the possibility, the power, and the involvement from companies that want to do more. Some bad fires occurred, people aged, it was hushed. You have to listen to those three guys and see their evidence it was their reality.

Synopsis 1943.

Shooting a guy into that vortex the lightning hitting you is not even a thought. Screw getting torn apart. I don’t think he would’ve made it past the lightning as his body is a big water filled conductor. Still a good movie though.

Wonderful trailer! This could have been one of the best science fiction movies IMO. The original story is absolutely great, but not the plot and not the implementation. In reality IMO: 1. there were no such an experiment :) 2. there was some kind of experiment, but completely different: degaussing the ship, which sounds reasonable. Maybe with a fire or accidents, but nothing like that. :) IMO in reality no 4dimension - ufo - timetravel stuff happened.
