dosent matter if you cant see the jet you are fighting and if they can already lock you in miles away before your equipment can detect, dosent matter if you are the best fighter pilot in the universe.

That applies to a lot of situations, but not in air to air combat. The plane matters more than the skill of a pilot. If what you said is true then a highly skilled pilot in a ww2 plane can beat a rookie pilot in a modern fighter jet... But it can't in reality.

Also, the narrator is wrong with referring to the bronco as "fighter jet". Sure, it's jet-powered but its driving a pair of props if narrator haven't noticed, & it's an *attack and spotter plane* And I agree with duterte about our current jets. All the more reason why we definitely need those Swedish gripens

In Northeastern Europe the F-22 did Training with Sweden and Norway in 2021, 2022. The F-22 flew close to the Russian Border and they put 5 SU-35s and 2 SU-57s would not fly even close to the F-22s because the Russians could not pick up or show up the Russian SU-35s and the SU-57 pilots communicated to SU-35 that they saw no aircraft on their radar at all. But the Su-35 pilots could see the F22 fly close to the border and could see them at a higher altitude above them. The Su-57s flew home and never engaged at all

Question: Why is there only a couple of jet fighter in the Philippine airforce? Answer: Well because Philippine government focuses on internal threats mainly terrorism which do not have jet fighter. Now Philippines is already too late to recognize the external threat (china) that is why Philippine airforce is called by its own people weak.

Well with the current "this will do" mindset and on-going corruption of some individuals within the organization in the country that supposed to handle this type of concerns, PH will just go with the bare-minimum of light weight trainer aircraft converted as light fighter trainer aircraft (let me emphasize the word TRAINER. Still hoping that someday this situation change for the better. Until then we can only wish 🤞🏼

For the interest of both US and the Philippine defense against China, I think it is best, for now, to have more Filipino pilots train well with surplus jets from the US, of which they can lend right away, and use when the need arises. Why not include that in the joint exercises? There are thousands of still worthy jet fighters in the US boneyards. But jet pilot talents are not easily accessible when war breaks and having a pool of them would be a great advantage. Another area to focus on, which is less expensive, are drones, of which we might be able to manufacture/produce ourselves in due time. Just a thought...

The Manananggal Squadron is the most elite and scariest of them all but don't underestimate the stealth of the Tiktik Fleet. Despite of the legendary nature of the Philippine Airforce, it can only operate at night due to overreliance on night-vision technology. That being said, the Philippine Navy consisting of shokoys, the Philippine Army consisting of sigbins and tikbalangs, The Marine Corps of kapres, and of course intelligence operatives of dwendes and encantos are considered to be the best in the world. Don't forget tiyanaks - killers who are trained to eliminate anyone just after birth.

Philippines was one of the failing countries after the Spaniards, Japanese, and American colonization though they were one of the fastest recovering countries after WW2 the whole Philippines is underdeveloped - exposed active wiring - destroyed roads - multiple homeless people - unconditional violence amongst smaller subdivisions Philippine’s 6 year condition also makes it hard for Presidents to finish their campaigns before being replaced, Philippines thought being fairly wealthy has no personal fitments, their equipments, tanks, planes are exports If WW3 were to break through the Philippines would stand no chance against missile attacks but will be supported by the US Military to this day Philippines still has one of the best historical houses, places, items and i think thats enough

The MRF procurement program has not moved. Three years since PBBM's election and today still no contract signed to purchase MRF jets. Make the Filipino people proud to look up the sky and see the jets promised, at the sea and look at the new warships promised. The Bangko Sentral holds $43 Billion in US Treasury Bonds which are earning interest. Use $10 Billion of these Treasury Bonds as collateral and order the promised jets, warships, submarines and all the missiles needed like Brahmos, Exocet and Patriot. God bless our country.

"GF-HNC"-Goodbye Freedom, Hello New Conquerors Scenario -is a very bleak situation that MAY befall our nation "IF" they keep "UNDERSPENDING" on our Defense (AFP Modernization Program) while "OVERSPENDING" ridiculously on Education & Infrastructure, this is while we're facing a "very serious Chinese Threat," which MAY lead to conflict.(or war) Indeed "Filipino Soldiers" are endowed with an amazing amount of courage, but with few weapons and equipments, mainly due to lack of support from the National Government and the people, they may not be able to prevail against a seemingly powerful adversary.

12 KFA50 trainers and some Tucano prop planes do not make for adequate fighters or attack platforms and neither does 2-3 dozen 4+ gen F16 Vipers or Grypans. S Korea just retired 200 3rd gen F4 Phantoms and US Nat Guard is retiring 200 4th gen F16 Falcons. All should be given to Philippines with 1/2 in service and 1/2 for parts. 3rd and 4th gen jets but 200 more than they have now. That allows Philippines to spend $1.1B for training, infrastructure/bases fuel, maintenance and munitions! They are among closest allies wince WW2 and virtually the tip of spear for us in SP. For the gift they can provide land for us to adequately expand both our Naval and Air Force bases. Would be very smart to utilize great cheap labor for defense contracting of ships too - would be great for our budget and Philippines economy as well as defense
