Truly one of the best military channels out there I have a big interest in eastern equipment and it's hard to find videos that aren't just West good East bad. I love the Chinese military they have so many cool aircraft and tanks can't forget the ships too so thanks for your coverage.

Yeah I think the main selling points of J35 are the high efficiency, maintainability, and producibility. The production line of J20 in AVIC-Chengdu is full and PLAAF want more 5th fighters so they let AVIC-Shengyang join the game
@lwty15 сағат бұрын
The designation for the naval variant is not J-31B or J-31C. It is J-35. The land based variant is J-35A. Both of them do not have side weapon bay, which is more of the artwork of military fans. The engine that J-35A used in Zhuhai airshow is unlikely to be WS-19. But maybe we will see WS-19 soon.
@1ycan-eu9ji17 сағат бұрын
1)At Zhuhai pretty sure it wasnt using the WS19 2)KF21 is not comparable to a J35, J35 is a finished (well nearly finished until the engines are mass produced) but the KF21 won't have internal weapons bay in its first variant, isn't actually that stealthy because of lack of materials, and will have an F18 engine not a natively produced 5th gen engine. It's like night and day.
@FancyPantsOnFire16 сағат бұрын
Not really. South Korea has better active and passive sensors. Moreover, the Chinese are behind the west and not producing 5th gen engines. The reality is it’s the only area they are still behind the Russians

@@FancyPantsOnFireYou need to update your knowledge. Both J20 and j35 use China’s own engines. China’s GaN AESA radars are widely used and No.1 in the world.
@FancyPantsOnFire15 сағат бұрын
@ Correction: no update necessary. Chinese engines are still behind Russias own fighter powerplants. It’s the only area they are still behind Russia, which is then behind the west. As for active n passive sensors, yes, the west have a distinctive advantage over China here. The AESAs found on our aircraft not only have better range, fidelity and processing power, but are more reliable. No fighter pilot is trading their apg81 or certainly the new apg85 over the Chinese counterpart.

At least they succeed in making it somehow flatter with (two) smaller engines, allowing good rearward vision for the pilot. Something which made me scratch my head, with the F35. I mean, like, what is with that single monstrous power plant? Why they went that way? 😶
