I passed through Bataan camp from/around 1985 to 87 as a Cambodian Refugee. My family were sponsored by Catholic. I ended up becoming a Latter Day Saint in my teen and the first native to return home to serve a ChurchofJesusChrist Cambodian Mission when it officially opened in 1998. My journey to America started after the Fall of Khmer Rouge in 1979. We fled from Battamban(Mongkol Borey) to Thailand and onto Philippines. I thank God for the generosity of the Philippine people to this day. Couldn't make it without them and especially by the Hand of God. I hope to visit there someday.
