I think a lot of the themes of this anime go unnoticed and I hope I can help people have a better understanding of the show. I love theorizing about this anime and might do one more video on this show, but do let me know if you want that here. I don't think you will, the anime is fantastic and shows more to people the beauty in life and a more optimistic view. It does have it serious and sad moments but they are what make the happy moments feel so nice and natural. As someone that is depressed I would recommend it. Anyway, hope I didn't come of as annoying ^^;

The girls inside the eggs are very easy to get attached to, I just hope they turn out okay. Especially the first one. It really shows how much of an impact she had on Ai when she carries her pen with her everywhere.

Apart from everything else, I'm overwhelmed by the quality of the animation, the detail that every frame has. Just watching the two or three seconds in the opening credits where the heroine scrapes the traces of yogurt off the foil lid of a yogurt cup blows me away. Comment egg.

So I have a theory behind the end since this has no source material. I could see it going 2 ways, one darker then the other. Both way stem from the premise that the "Bosses" in the dreams are the main influencing figure that drove the girls to suicide, and it is inherent that all the characters hold themselves accountaable for the death of the friends/family they are trying to bring back. Basically at the end of it I could see it as they have to fight themselves in the form of a monster, or the final step is to kill themselves as they were the monster that drove them to commit suicide. I would hope it's the former between these two options, the ladder is a bit to dark in my opinion. Also with the former option this would give them the opportunity to realize what they were like and to grow past that and to gain forgiveness of their loved one. Any other thoughts or theories y'all have?

I was thinking maybe the final bosses would be the bosses of the girls that our characters are trying to save. Koito's could be a boss which triggered her to suicide and also the answer Ai was looking for (who and what killed Koito?) They will probably be the hardest to defeat and might even have connection with the 4 girls. For example, I do theorize that Koito's final boss could be the sensei which would also be Ai's difficult person to face since she may harbor feelings towards him or maybe even someone that she disbeliefs could do such a thing bc Ai believes Koito actually depended on him. Who knows but I'm really excited to see what the future episodes have for us

@@AG-nl2sb I was also thinking this because I believe (apart from this beautiful explanation in this video) that the whole point of wonder egg priority is to overcome trauma. To grow, be stronger, and continue life. To finally face find closure. I think its pretty clear you can't bring people back to life. It's shown when they defeat the monsters that the girls from the eggs just disappear. I'm curious to see how these girls will handle this, especially Ai.

OCCAM'S RAZOR IS *NOOOOOT* "the simplest answer is the best one". That's a really dangerous oversimplifcation. It's the answer with the *LEAST NUMBER OF ASSUMPTIONS* is the best one. The more times you have to lean on unknowns to resolve a problem, the less likely your final conclusion is right. A really complicated answer could be completely true.

Wonder Egg is so freaking good! Wonderful animation, amazing music, fantastic story, each episode is jam packed with content. It's been a joy to watch and a real suprise! While I have enjoyed Mushoku Tensei and Sk8 the Infinity, Wonder Egg keeps me thinking about it. Can't wait to see where it goes or how it ends!

After Madoka’s success, a lot of shows tried to copy its formula while failing to realise what made it great. Many were cynical exploitations of “magical girls gone dark” like the misery porn that is “Magical Girl Site”. Wonder Egg seems to have taken inspiration from Madoka, but pushed things in a wholly new direction and made something genuinely original. It really is the best PSA of all time, because it isn’t cringey or didactic - it resonates with realness. I showed it to my cynical, sarcastic teenage sister who has recently struggled a bit at school, and instead of acting too cool, she immediately vibed with it. I think media and art that has that level of cross-cultural, inter generational power is something pretty special and doesn’t come along often. Love your channel and love hearing your insight. Keep it up, man.

And to add onto the thread that the show uses and that you bring up about the show being anti-bullying and suicide prevention, which I wholeheartedly agree with, I think the show does a great job in not being too overt and beat you over the head with its messaging and yet also not being too off base about representing these situations. Like, the girls, the people left behind, the "victims" so to say, are all suffering on their own, even as they're living their day to day life, and making friends with each other, they have an incredible amount of complex emotions in them whether its Rika's refusal of taking responsibility, Neiru's suffering and confrontation with her trauma to dull her pain, Momoe's inexperience and fear, and Ai's search for the truth. All of these things I feel make up the kind of emotions and feelings that people who are left behind from tragic events like suicide feel, and I can definitely relate to some of them having gone through my own experiences dealing with the topics that Wonder Egg is showcasing. Such a fucking fantastic show and I do agree with the sentiment of, man, what other show out here is doing what Wonder Egg is doing? Shit's so good. I think the nature of Wonder Egg is just so good for discussion, so yeah really great vid.

From episode one I was hooked, for one reason I havent seen talked about much. I think the girls are all dealing with their own depression, and handling it in their own way. Showing that depression is expressed in different ways for everyone is hugely important in my opinion. It's not always sad and gloomy, and it doesnt always show. Ai isnt always locked in her room, but shes quick to do so. Love this show so much

Great show. A few years ago my life was falling apart and i turned to drugs and alcohol and was ruining my life and was going down the route that I wanted to die. Luckily I'm clean and havent had thoughts of suicide in awhile. People going through stuff like that stay strong, get a hobby to distract your brain, exercise, cut out people in your life who are toxic, and just know you are not alone and your feelings are important but life is precious and worth living

[EGG] This show has been emotional and given me a lot of perspective. Some aspects gave been unfortunately relatable but I was able to learn about these instances. I think its also very interesting how the scenery in each dream world relates to the place where they lost their loved ones. I think WEP was probably the best anime I've ever watched and that's really saying something, especially because the final episode isn't even out yet. I hope it ends in a satisfying way because endings are really hard to get right but so far it's pretty clear that the writers know what they're doing.
