I believe Steiner said thinking is a spiritual activity by using imagination, inspiration and intuition to get you in the exceptional state. There is a youtube page dedicated to some works of Steiner called Urphanomen that breaks down each chapter of the Philosophy of Freedom in one hour videos. It was started by a Process Philosopher from the California Institute of Integral Studies named Matthew Segal who has a youtube channel called Footnotes to Plato since he is a Whiteheadian. I will leave the playlist for anyone who is interested in this breakdown of Steiner's Philosophy of Freedom. kzbin.info/aero/PLEt-RrSrz7JOk3zjVXAjEdkQGzzrOV67j
