I've always been curious as to why we seem to be moving inextricably forward in time, and why time does not share the same properties of the spatial dimensions. It is an elegant and profound observation that we were, in a sense, ejected from a negative timeline directly from the quantum vacuum, and propelled forward towards the expanding universe. There was in a sense a force behind the momentum of our constant temporal direction. I was recently thinking of how matter and antimatter pairs that are in the quantum vacuum, behave in a similar way as the sound waves that are in phase cancellation. Not surprising since electrons are standing waves. Phase cancellation is an acoustic phenomenon in which two or more “out of phase” sound waves result in weakened or lost frequencies. When two identical frequencies are cycling 180° opposite each other, complete phase cancellation occurs. If we add energy into the vacuum it adds a distortion that reveals particles that were always there, but were cancelling each other out, in a similar way if you change the frequency or phase shift identical sound waves that were in phase cancellation from silence, you will get sound.

"It seems like a miracle. But you don't need a miracle. You just need the laws of nature". Isn't that a miracle? Whether the universe started from a singularity, or has always existed, scientist will never be able to explain it fully.

and people of faith are too far away to have an answer. keep believing that you are right without evidence ... science will continue to know that maybe they are wrong even with all the evidence ... that's a doubt, starting to be the one who knows that maybe they don't know.

Yeah that's the magic of it, science can explain how gravity works for example, but it can't explain why it even exists. People should look at life with the eyes of a child more often

but what is nothing? where did nothing came from? i have an hard time understanding that

Think of zero as being a bounded nothing and infinity as an unbounded nothing. There are two ways I imagine this, one is an arbitrary circle, which creates a virtual border, the zero is the emptiness inside the circles border and infinity is the emptiness that lies outside the zeros border, but then you shrink that circle to a singular point, such that that point can touch no other points outside of it. The second way to understand it, is to realize every number on the number line takes up as much space as zero, and if you were to pivot the numberline on zero, you can imagine spinning an infinite roulette table. This is the expansion of zero dimensionality, a single point, into one-dimension space. Lining up bounded nothing's next to each other such that they can never touch, having infinite space between them. You will also realize that every number on the numberline is a smaller infinity than the entire numberline, so between 0 and 1 is also an infinite numberline, relatively smaller than the infinite. This is how the illusion of the finite is achieved, by comparing infinities of different sizes. Time also operates in this way, every moment in time is infinitely distant to the next, only the relative change gives an observer a sense of distance in time. Each moment in time is disconnected from every other moment in time, because any moment in time is a timeless eternal unchanging moment. It is consciousness collapsing the wave function and a snapshot of what nothing looks like is observed. This nothing is a reflection of the signal the observer sends out. Without a conscious observer, there is nothing of interest going on in the universe. It is just a fuzzy mess of probabilities that no one is paying attention to. Mathematics hasn't reached the point to explain the universe, but ultimately it is an arrangement of zeros such that there is an illusion of something rather than nothing, when ultimately, there is always and ever will be nothing except for the observer and whatever the observer believes. Reality is an illusion where everyone dreams of everyone else at the same time, so you mind as well accept it is real. Because if you believe it, then it is real. You may think you can just change what you believe but that is as difficult as walking through walls. Do not try to bend the spoon, only try to realize that there is no spoon, and it is not the spoon that bends, only yourself.

@@ThePhilosophyOfX all of that fancy science doesn't address the question. Where did nothing and infinity come from? Unfortunately, as desperately as scientists want you to believe, the question can't be answered. It's a philosophical question that we may never know

@@jeccdog7584 I have been trying to understand this concept as well for a pretty long time. Few questions Detailed out like 1. How do we understand Nothing on our own because external real world has no object that matches the description of nothing 2. Everyone is aware of meaning of Nothing. How that's possible without nothing being real in external world? 3. Every term in our knowledge is associated with certain description. Nothing has description of blankness. Where does that description arrived from? And so on. So far, only possible explanation i recieved is from Advaita Vedanta (specifically Mandukya Karika) which says Atman witnesses Nothingness during deep sleep. That's the only place where nothing is witnessed and remembered as knowledge. Feel free to help me out with other explanations if you find.

@@ThePhilosophyOfX it's really a detailed out answer, though not related to nothingness. But I agree to the speculations, specifically on the consciousness collapsing on wave function that shows us the one reality out of infinite probabilities. Schrodinger equation, uncertainty principle point towards these speculations only. Just a thought though, may the wave equation we are referring here be interpreted with the light touching the waves of probabilities in the space time and bringing the reality to us?

​@@shawnfrost1717 It is all consciousness, the universe is mental. The universe is a mind and we are a collection of thoughts or dreams. The past is a dream and so is the future. The best science is going to be able to do is simulate reality. But the base layer of the universe already simulates reality. You are self generating the content of your life. You are in a never ending feedback loop of the mind. It is of utmost importance to protect your mind. Purge fear, doubt, and indecision from your mental state and move toward abundance. Your infinite God power is your ability to interpret reality your only limits are your imagination.
