I was obsessed with this show when I was 6. My mom hand painted the Phoenix emblem on to a canning jar lid and made me a necklace lol. I wore it everywhere.

I was ten years old; 5th grade. I was disappointed that the show was discontinued. Or at least I assumed it had been. Back in the days before the internet, it was very difficult to keep up with what shows had been renewed and which had been canceled; you just figured when the show never came back it was dropped. When I saw Judson Scott in Star Trek II and V I said, "Hey, that's the guy from The Phoenix!"

I have tried to remember what this was, I have the memory in my head of a white wolf. Now I have finally found it. I wasn't sure what it was called, I just have that memory in my mind from when I was 9 years old. Thanks for sharing this.

Bennu was also the helmsman on the Reliant in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, when the Reliant had weaponized the Genesis Wave and the Enterprise is drifting nearby with disabled warp engines. Bennu was also one of the Black Widows in Every Which Way But Loose with Clint Eastwood.

This really is a godsend for people who remember this show. Sure, it has some "cheesy" elements, but I was quite taken with it. I was also about age 9 when this show came out. I think it was the fact he was alone and using his wits to survive that was compelling about it. Had better background music than most of the shows today do. And was more "reality" than a bunch of shithead housewives living entitled lives. This is the America we have now. Along with toothless illiterates wearing MAGA dunce caps.
