There’s def some skill to rebounding but i think it’s hard to teach. Things like anticipating where the ball is coming, timing your jumps perfectly if your a shorter player trying to rebound against trees, having the awareness, read and react those are skills to rebounding. But then there’s things like positioning, toughness, energy, physical advantage which are super important as well. I think there’s a balance.

Watch Jokic be one of the best rebounded in the league almost exclusively off position and timing. You see how often Jokic engages early, gets arms to restrict player movement, push with hips as the ball comes down to reduce the reach of the contesting player, keep tipping with the fingers until he can securely catch it, etc.

Third, damn. Both AD and KD are my favorites. It's hard to choose. I still think KD is better right now, but it's close. As far as Anthony Edwards goes, he's going to take over the league soon.
