Stumbled on this by accident. Brought back some great memories. I was actually in the audience on this night. A gang of us went up from Evesham to support our local heroes. And yes, they were a great band. I still have my "Look Hear" badge! :-)

Just heard their eponymous album again on Spotify. If this was a live performance on tv they got the sound really tight and had good backing harmonies. My fave tracks of theirs were this and Barbarellas.

That second album, "Crystal Tips For Naughty Mice" (baffling title!) was completed in 1981... and sat on a shelf till 2008!!

The album is now available on both Emusic and iTunes. My old vinyl will finally get a rest! The CD has been available in GB for some time now, but still not here, unless you get an import. One of my favorite records of all time!

The 2nd Album "Crystal Tips & mighty mice" was origionally recorded but not released I believe (something to do with contract issues). However it has been dug up & released earlier this year. Its available online from the HMV website.

Good tune. Worth checking out the album. Apparently some unknown Irish rock band opened for them in 1979 called "The U2's". Wonder what happened to them :)

Saw their first ever gig ... or one them!.. at Pershore college of Horticulture.and then several times at the Marquee London - great times....they seemed to almost make it, supported the Police in Europe I think, as often happens with really good live bands they struggled to convert on to vinyl...thanks chaps and of course Wendy ;-)

tomnook, why doesn't someone put the 2nd full album "Crystal Tips & Mighty Mice" 1981 from this band on youtube? I was trying to find the song "My Lifes Story" from that album BUT there is nothing from that album on youtube & it is as good as this first lp by them.
