I thought I was going nuts when I got this 12" vinyl single. 1st listen was amazing, so I played it again and the vocals were gone! No singing at all, just the music, so I played it again and the vocals were back. so I played it again and the vocals were still there. I really couldn't understand it and couldn't stop thinking about it all day while I was out. It was quite creepy and I wondered if I had imagined it, or it was magic or something. I couldn't wait to get home to listen to it again and when I did...........NO VOCALS!!!!!!!!!!!!. So...... I looked closely at the vinyl and saw that it was double tracked, one with vocals and one without. It really freaked me out. I'd never heard of that on a record before. I will love Kate for ever.

I found this so moving 😥 Kate is such a beautiful woman inside and out. I love her music, I've been a fan since I was 12 years old. I feel listening to the Ninth Wave on the Hounds of Love album quite a spiritual experience, hope that doesn't sound too dramatic, but it takes you on a journey.
