The discovery of the magnetic moment demanded a fundamental rethink, a total rewrite, but instead of fully overhauling the system, it was integrated into QM as patchwork. We should be redefining core concepts like magnetic moment and pole strength as emergent from intrinsic properties like momentum, spin, and reciprocal motions, rather than as isolated properties. Understanding magnetic interactions are fundamentally momentum exchanges makes it simple and intuitive!!!
