I’m super excited to share this remaster with you all! This collaboration with Myuu is very dear to me so bringing it back to life with better mixing (and stronger vocals on my end than last time) makes me so happy! I've always really loved this one! Myuu's piano really adds a distinct personality, and I love that he was willing to sing (a rare treat!). I've updated the general mixing on the instrumental track and totally redid my own vocals. I hope you enjoy this updated version! As always, the original isn't going anywhere! This creepypasta was always one of my favorites because of the premise to it (the original story ended after the realization of what that contact did to his music, hence that line "...or that's how the story goes."). The idea that he wasn't giving his soul literally. He was giving it metaphorically. The idea that yea, sure, you can get what you want...only to realize that it wasn't what you *actually* wanted. The guy wanted people to enjoy his music - especially his crush. Now he can play the most beautiful music, but he can't play without killing those that hear it. He gave his "soul" because he sacrificed his dreams and why he was wanting to make the deal in the first place.

It's also neat that it's kinda like a Little Piece of Heaven thing where they worried about something happening, not that it actually happened. The guy thought his girlfriend would regect him while in this the guy thought she would fall in love with someone else, it never said they did. I didn't realize it till this version lol

Wow, this really smashed! It reminds me of the song a group did on Alastor making a deal with someone. I like the old saloon style piano. The music making the audience both exhillerated and sick is similar to the Red Shoes story and dancing with the fairies.

lover this one, this was one of the first songs I heard of yours aside from god syndrome and has always stayed one of my favorites for the story it tells. and this is even better than the original. I also noticed a bit of a pitch shift to a slightly shrill tone when the demoness reveals onward, I don't know if this was intentional or not but it added a really nice irregular tone while still being nice on the ears.
