With apes, the males, especially the Alpha and his click maintain discipline and pecking order. You will never see a male ape cuddling an infant or young member of the group. Same with wild canines, it is the females that raise the pups. As for cetaceans, I don't have much experience with them, but I highly doubt that the males are involved beyond maintaining pod discipline and hierarchy. Some people just can't get over their fear and see everything not human as dangerous, BUT given the right circumstances they will make exceptions and that opens the door. For example I love wolves but convincing people that wolves are not nasty evil vicious creatures that would eat you at the first opportunity is very hard because in the times of prehistoric man, wolves were competing with us for the same food and were given a bad rep. Little red riding hood etc. when in actual fact there is no recorded case of man being killed by wolves. Wolves are very shy animals and avoid humans like the plague. And yet Dogs(bred from wolves) are mans best friend. If you are brought up around animals you learn to respect them and from respect comes love. If you are brought up in an environment where all the animals you come across want to kill you, you learn to fear them and give them a wide berth. It takes a lot to overcome that fear(education helps) let alone feel love for them. I feel sorry for people who are afraid of animals, they are missing out on one of life's best experiences, playing with a puppy or cuddling a kitten or Rabbit, something every child should experience.❤❤❤❤❤❤

i dont know why but ive cried the whole video. So much love, and yet other people have so much cruelty towards animals. Such a beautiful bond. It is sad indeed that the bear cannot return to wildness, but i feel he is really happy with Andrei

So many bad people in the world 😢 The bear is such an innocent soul ❤

Amazing. There's more good people than bad people. Always remember that.
A bear sanctuary, deceiving people, & selling them to hunters for their dogs to "practice on". Like WTF!!! Just when I though some humans couldn't get any more disgusting, I hear this. I hope they were sent to a Russian jail & "locked-up in a small cage in their own excrement" too. Now on the flipside, this guy (& his colleagues) are absolute angels. Thank you all, you kind souls for adopted this once little (but now huge) guy as one of your own. It's obvious that he's not only very well cared for, but also much loved. He clearly looks very happy & healthy, plus strongly bonded with his special human. Well done guys.

У него сейчас прекрасные огромные вольеры с бассейном, гротом, игрушками, присланными с разных концов света и домиком. А в природу ему нельзя, он привык к человеку.

3:45 i don't think Mansur is sad about that! I think he would much rather spend his days swimming, eating delicious food and playing with his best friend!
