3/20/2023 Thanks, Dale Ann! This song takes my thoughts to my sweet grandmother, Rachel, whose hot biscuits and homemade pear preserves were the stuff of dreams. May she rest in peace.

Thank you, Ms. Bradley, for sharing this lovely song with us. I'll never forget -- 2 years ago, after the tornados hit, I was so empty and burdened. I left my apartment in Cleveland and went back to my family's home in Ocoee that Friday with my heart broken. But when I drove up the hill, I found those green bushes white, fragrant, and billowing. I felt that same hope with those bushes full of early piney roses like with the rainbow the Lord gave Noah after the flood.

Sweet. So glad I was directed to you and your music, thank you Mitch Barrett. And an interesting contrast with the little one's voice in the background.

Every time I go out to check on my own piney roses, I think of my time spent with Dale Ann. Thank you, darlin.' You reminded me of all those strong mountain women of my home here in Madison County, NC. Peace and love to you, my friend! Come see me sometime and we'll set in the porch swing and talk about the old days.....

I was sitting here reading the comments below the video and it struck me how far reaching Dale Ann and her music is. Most seem to be from the lower 48 and thats fine, however Im not. I am from a tiny island in Canada that lies at the mouth of the Sy.Croix river which forms a large part of the border between Maine and NB. I just discovered Dale Ann a few months back while looking for acoustic covers and found her cover of the old Grateful Dead tune " Ripple". Ive listened to nearly everything she has on You tube since then and enjoyed every tune. Keep picking Dale Ann Bradley! You are bringing joy to a lot of people!
