The Pink Trellis Plant Shop Update | LOTS of Hoya and more! | New Plants!

Hello everyone! Welcome or welcome back to my channel. In this video I'm sharing with you the latest plant update of my online plant shop: thepinktrellis.com.
Friday July 12th. (the premiering day of this video) is when the new plants will have launched in the shop.
I have Hoya, Syngonium, Scindapsus, and more (including some brand new things) in this update. There will be many more to come in the upcoming weeks. If you miss out on these, don't worry!!! Some I just have one... but others will have future availability.
If you aren't currently in the market for houseplants, then hopefully this will be a relaxing video to just look at some pretty plants. Maybe even see some plants you didn't know were out there.

Gina, please don't rush through ur videos. I really enjoy all the info. Even if I see a plant I'm afraid will sell out, I just pause the video and go to the web site. I then come back and enjoy the video. U don't need to change anything unless u want to, but I enjoy the longer chatty videos and even rewatch them sometimes. Love ur content and ur plant shop!

I really appreciate this suggestion. Sometimes I'm not sure if it's better to just show the plants and keep the chatter to a minimum or go into more detail with the plants. I'll try to get a good balance of both. I really appreciate you sharing how you feel about this and thank you for watching :).

@ThePinkTrellis Well, I got verygeted bear paw. But it is so small they didn't have big ones. But very cute. & Sygonium white butterfly. The other one pink HB Foliage assorted. Small pot of Wayetti tricolor Hoya & big pot of Hoya queen carnosa . I already have the princes so. Lol. I think I spent way too much. Is hard not to grab plants. I saw lots of my favorite. I also got lots of plants 🪴 😅. I love plants & flowers each & chickens 🐔 lol silkies. They are like teddy bears 🐻 . Hopefully, I will slow down soon . I can get one plants from you next month. But I got to see what you have next month. I can't get it now because I spent way too much already, lol 😅

@@AnitaDay-ne3zr you got a lot of nice things! I wish we could have chickens here but the HOA doesn’t allow them yet. I’ve heard talk of it though 🤞. I love silkies!!!! We had them when I was a kid. They are so cute and unusual. Thanks for sharing what you picked up 💚💚💚.

@ThePinkTrellis You are welcome. I started to get as a pet. Then, they multiply by them breeding hatching babies. I took some to sale or trade to swap. Chickens swap. But I diwn size a lot, but I got pets only. But maybe a few babies, lol. It is calming to have chickens. I think they are so cute funny, too. As long you don't over doit. I use their eggs for baking. But small eggs, you gotta use two eggs, lol. Not a huge chickens . They are small. But I also love my house plants too & outside gardening. Sometimes, I think to myself where I get all the time each. Lol 😅 is a lot

My favorites are the big chunky Hoya. That big dischidia was tempting but I held back too long. Someday I'll grab a hueshkeliana. And your syngoniams are beautiful. But I'm literally struggling for space 😂

Someday I will somehow make space for more hoya babies. Right now I am kind of watching to see how big the ones I have are going to get. My goofy hoya stand will hold 18 6 inch pots and if they all drape down they will cascade upon each other. I am hoping to figure a way to trellis them to grow up. Right now most are still in large drinking cups so I have a long way to go or they have a lot of growing to do before I know where I will stand in plant size. And as you could see in just my sun porch video Even adding four plant stand shelves and that 4 1/2 foot coffee table I am still pretty filled up plant wise. I think I need to do some more consolidating to free up space.

Your plants are all beautiful specimens!!!! I forgot to ask you, you just reminded me, did you paint the coffee table? It looks so pretty and matches your color scheme perfectly!

@@ThePinkTrellis Yes I did. I used my chalk paint with a coat of sealer over it. I also painted in the same color the top of my dining room table and a small shelf and top of my chair side table in the same color. I went crazy with paint brushes for a few days. It was fun.

@@shadesofidaho chalk paint is so nice to paint with. I've painted a few things with it and then sealer...it's great for furniture that holds plants too. I painted a console table I found at the Goodwill in white chalk paint with a sealer and it has never chipped...love that stuff :).

@@ThePinkTrellis I LOVE chalk paint. I bought a bag of the powder and mix my own now. It also dries super fast.

@@iRedPlants we have grub problems in yards here. My understanding is it’s japanese beetles. They lay the eggs that become the grubs and it’s a viscous cycle. Bugs are a pain in the butt lol.
