The Pinnacle through Kelly's Run to Lock 12: The Conestoga Trail

Luis from ‪@SimplyExploVenturing‬ and I tackle this southern section of the Conestoga Trail from The Holtwood Pinnacle through Kelly's Run, past Holtwood Dam, to Lock 12. This was his final section to complete the trail, but I have a bunch in the middle to fill in.

Nice! Old man? 😅😅😅😅😅 Wait until you get to be 2 months short of 64...them aches stay a little longer! Note...I did the Kelly's Run loop this past Monday...not much water though so I was able to get into some of the alcoves on the other side of the Run...cheers!

@@JohnDillon-s4l I've always wondered about the north side of Kelly's there. I bet there are cool caves and formations. It's not just being old and tired, lol... I've had some odd injuries that are very unlike me (knock on wood). Thanks for watching, John!

This last leg I should have included with my comment that the hike from Pequea Boat Launch to the Pinnacle is the hardest and most beautiful part of the Conestoga Trail. The hike from Pinnacle to Kelly's Run/Holtwood should be included.
