Wherever possible in future especially right here and further up where the perimeter road intersects, some of the existing 4 lanes will need to be expanded to 6 lanes. We have to plan for future expansion because of increased traffic due to this expansion and development. We can’t possibly think that if one of the aims of all of this development is to improve economic outcomes, that it won’t lead to increased activity that produces those economic outcomes. Wi need fi plan ahead beyond this and a hope Anju and the government undastan dat part. Jamaica looking lovely. Nuff people soon start move back, trust that.

Jamaicans NEEDS to wake up and see these developments DO NOT benefit the average Jamaican. These investments are no different from what happened to Hawaii where native islanders find it more difficult and see the island beauty slip away. The JLPNP is ONLY about fatten their own bank accounts. We the people need to realize and VOTE them out. We cannot keep giving away OUR land for these developments. Great video and thanks for the update. While the Pinnacle will be the tallest building in Jamaica when completed, it will not the tallest in the Caribbean as the tallest buildings are correctly in San Juan, Puerto Rico; Havana, Cuba and Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and these buildings are well over 30 floors in height and the tallest in Santo Domingo at 171m tall
@palm33453 ай бұрын
The pinnacle will be 300m tall
@jaysan2k93 ай бұрын
@@palm3345 do you mean 300ft and not 300m. 300m is equivalent to 990ft. For a 28 floor building with each floor about 10 - 14 ft in height that gives a total height of 280 - 392ft

The tallest building in the Caribbean is in the Dominican Republic ? Torre Anacaona has no fewer than 41 floors and two underground levels. The second tallest building is 40 floors also in the Dominican Republic 😊 Please stop saying the Penicille towers in Montego Bay are going to be the tallest in the Caribbean?😊😅
@alphansoworth97753 ай бұрын
The floors on a building doesn't determine the building height...the anocoana is 161 meters and Torrey is 178 meters on completion the pinnacle will be over 300 meters..the pinnacle towers will be 28 floors but with deep ceiling living..so not because the anocoana has 42 floors one of the floor on the pinnacle will be more than twice one of the floor on the anocoana
@JadenMalik3 ай бұрын
This is a stupid comment. There are buildings all over the world with 4 storeys that are higher than buildings with 10 storeys.
@the-development-scribbler3 ай бұрын
I was just as doubtful as you were upon first hearing this. 28 floors doesn't nearly sound as tall as 41 floors, and to claim this will be taller than some of Dominican Republic's tallest almost sounds like a vain thing to say. But there are legit facts out there indeed suggesting and saying The Pinnacle Towers will be larger than them. Look at the recently built One Belmont building along Oxford Road, New Kingston. That building is only 9 floors and THAT building is almost as large as the nearby 17-floor Pegasus hotel. Back to the Pinnacle towers, operating by the same logic; while the floor count isn't nearly as large as the tallest in the Dominican Republic, the Pinnacle's room count absolutely dwarfs that of Dominican Republic's tallest with a whopping 423 rooms compared to its 52 rooms. Even if we take into account that number will be divided amongst its four towers, we'll still be left with about 105 rooms per tower. Even one of those towers is still twice as large as Dominican Republic's tallest. Floor number doesn't really mean anything in terms of a building's height.
