The Caribbean is not black continent (or whatever it is) The Caribbean was colonised by white Europeans from the indigenous Indian tribes. Slaves (of black African descent)were transported to the Caribbean to ‘work’ Somewhere between the ending of the Caribbean slave trade or just before, Indians and Chinese came over, were given land (for free) and continued the work of the slaves for payment (and free land) Because of this history, the Caribbean is racially diverse. It doesn’t belong to black people. It doesn’t belong to anyone. Africa is a completely different subject.

I knew of the projects mentioned (like the massive Princess) but had no idea Isiaa had a hand in so many! No wonder she exudes such quiet confidence. It's a great legacy, especially being a Montegonian herself. It also demonstrates the role of investment in providing opportunities for Jamaican professionals. She wouldn't have designed all those RIUs if RIU hadn't come. And clearly RIU desired an authentic Jamaican touch for the design of their Jamaican resorts, so they sought a local architect.

The problem is that most Jamaicans are very money-obsessed. Because of that, they become impatient with money. Which leads some to robbery. Jamaica doesn't have a creative mind society. Very few, the majority or not. People tend to do the same as everyone else. For example, taxi. The average Jamaican thinks of buying cars on hire purchase to run taxis which is very competitive in the country. No one did think about an island-wide coach service which is very effective in Jamaica. It takes people from overseas to go Jamaica and do different businesses which the locals never thought of doing. This tells that Jamaica society is not very creative thinking with cleverness behind the creativity. There are so many ways people could be earning in the country. However, people are lacking ideas and only think about instant money-making. Put in the interest and the passion behind whatever the business is then the money will follow behind.

Thank you Throp, awesome video. Thank you, Mr.Yangsen, for bringing your investments and visions to reality for our beautiful country 🇯🇲. It's awesome to see three beautiful women at the helm of this project, they are setting the foundation for our future up and coming little girls who will dear to break the patriarchal glass ceilings. The only drawback is; the Jamaicans will not be able to afford this luxury property, even those in the diaspora. Its geared towards the affluent class. Nonetheless,it wiil avail more jobs. Btw,as a suggesti, they should consider building a health facility on the property and work out the logistics to include Practitioners at a cost, rather than having to fly out.

I would love to own one of those units! Currently thinking of retiring in Jamaica and researching where to live! Then I saw this video 😊

For the record I am indeed happy as a jamaican first and foremost that your program exist as a professional outlet to counteract the negative vloggers who have been creating content and I suppose for there own political agenda or to meet a political narrative that there is nothing happening in jamaica. I just saw another report of a gathering of civil society including people from the university telling us that basically nothing is happening in our beloved country. Thanking you for curating these positive vlogg providing valuable information about the growth in jamaica and the multiply developments in infrastructure

Young people should invest in this project. Purchase a unit. Proud of our Jamaican ladies. The privacy aspect is welcoming. Next project an awesome healthcare facility for the people of Jamaica regardless of their economic status

But the white Jamaican lady sounds American, I like how the architect still has her accent although she went to University in Washington. 😊
