Another fascinating discussion involving Marx, and CRT. In the U.S., there are many layer’s or dimension’s and player’s in this story. Behind what you have discussed is the relationship between the university and the government. They are frenemies. The vast university system is heavily subsidized by the state and federal government, the private sector (large donors), and foreign player’s. All university’s want to grow, and they can make vast amounts of money, if they follow political directives of these donor’s. For the federal government, they want a type of graduate…a Marxist political activist, we call those graduate’s DEI. (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion). These ‘graduates’ are ‘placed’ by the government into the public and private sector (by various nefarious ways). In the case of the private sector…they have a mission. Example’s of these companies, Disney, Twitter, Budweiser, etc.. I’ll stop there, there are thousands, but the mission is clearly to turn private sector companies into government run entities. I think that is called fascism. So the saga of Marx, in the U.S., is very deep and continues to grow, and has become a vast Marxist spiderweb… leading to total control by the federal government . 🌎. Marx is alive and well and making lot’s of money in the U.S.

Communism entered America in the early 50's and then spread later on in the 60's and 70's into the U.K. And eventually into Europe full-blown.😢. Communism is as such, U have two Cows, they will take your two Cows away from U, and perhaps let have some milk, if U are lucky.😊 A Fascist on the other hand will also take your two Cows away from U, and sell U milk, also if U are lucky.😂😅😊.

Ernst, I was listening carefully to this conversation with the intention to add to the discussion. The arguments, however were so sound that I could not find anything to say. "Doet so voort". I just hope the growing frustration amongst the disenfranchised youth does not create a fertile ground for these ideas.

“Rather than wasting energy and resources fighting unwinnable political battles, we should instead work on building communities, institutions, and networks of resistance that can outwit, outlast, and eventually overcome the occupation.” This strategic withdrawal from public life is what he calls the Benedict option. Rod Dreher. Orania is a perfect example of like-minded people applying the Benedict option. They pursue excellence in a sea of mediocrity. It is the way of the future.

The speculation in property as instruments to create financial wealth for investors is at the very core of failure for many to secure for themselves a home. Speculators and Investors want returns on their capital, to this end property valuations must be driven upwards, alternatively rentals must always appreciate in line with inflation or market indexes. This has created other industries whom profit from the misfortunes of others.

Ernst the flip side of critical race theory is the collective absence of cultural identity in the West as a consequence to accumilitive guilt acquisition. The West desperately strives to build humanity institutions including multi ethnic nation states which predictably suffers due to a lack of cohesion and focus. The solution in my opinion is simply to take up your identity don't ask for permission or forgiveness for being yourself and stop using the false doctrine of strength in diversity as an aid to sooth the conscience. I believe the Afrikaners are showing the way in this regard.

I am Afrocentric and I like to hear other views that are contrasting to mine, so thats y I am here. I am not too familiar with Azania Critical Theory as its been explain here but I will tell you what Afrocentrists, Pan Africanists are trying to do which essentially is what the modern Afrikaner groups are doing: 1. Self determination 2. Self preservation 3. Built a society based on African Philosophy 4. Black consciousness 5. Moving away from Western philosophy such as Capitalism, Socialism, Liberalism and Communism. 6. Unlocking black minds and moving them away from victim hood and westernisation. 7. Live in an African society, were Africans are a cultural and economical majority. 8. Raise Continental consciousness and Global black consciousness. Here are some of the issues that I feel that the white world in SA and Globally is not understanding: 1. Significant number of black people such as myself do not want to assimilate into white culture, white socio-economic ideologies and way of living. 2. Self determination means that as a group, black people can decide how to live and thrive without the veto of white people. 3. Living in an African country where Africans are an economic and cultural minority is not sustainable, I think we can agree on that. Now, factually, most white people, including some black people (liberals and conservatives) are robust in their thought that Capitalism and free markets are the solution & rubbish other ideologies on the table such as Botho (Ubuntu) that put emphasis on the community first then the Individual to be empowered to serve the needs of the Community. Botho is more than what the guest explained, its a way of life. If you do not have Botho (Ubuntu)/Humanity then you cannot claim to be Motho (Ubuntu)/ a Human. For an example, in the principles of Botho, the white system of slavery, colonization and neo colonization makes/made those white people overseeing and implementing those systems lose their humanity and therefore cannot be considered human. Another example is how we as Black people have lost our sense of morality in significant numbers, these are/were the black slave traders, colonial agents and neo colonial agents such as Mr Ramaphosa, Mr Mbeki and the general black & white populations that commit economical and physical crimes. The system we as a nation are in, perpetuates moral decay.

Funny enough, as an African Christian who has a love for Western technology, philosophy and economics I like to consume content from as many opposing views and examine the case for all of them. Upon my study and research, here's what I came to realise: 1. The best societies are built by truth, love and wisdom: As Sub-Saharan Africans we need to acknowledge that our isolation from most of the ancient global powers has given us a gap to fill in terms of philosophy, culture, technology and economics. What's ironic is that our ancestors a millennium ago were practicing free market Capitalism when they were involved in the Indian Ocean Trade. Added unto that, our gap in epistemology is a limiting factor as it deprives us of knowledge regarding our ancestors success and failures so that we do not repeat them. Moreover, we need to acknowledge that we are all human and our nature is universal. 2. Africa needs to trade and compete within the continent in order to lift its economic curse. In so doing we will be able to comete globally. Not only that, free markets uphold human rights and individual freedoms. 3. The greatest African kingdoms and empires thrived due to its multiculturalism, i.e Egypt, Nubia, Carthage, Axum, Cordoba, Mali, Great Zimbabwe, Thulamela, Sofala, Mogadishu, Pembe, Numidia, etc. These states, kingdoms and empires thrived on sea trade, land trade and trade routes

So, Steve Hoffmeyer, when you mention “Dankie Boere," what exactly do you mean? Are you referring to Afrikaans-speaking white right-wing males, the broader Afrikaans-speaking community, or farmers regardless of their skin colour? In my opinion, making such a distinction immediately creates a divide between “us” and “them,” however you define those groups. I believe this mentality is at the heart of the problems we've been discussing in this important conversation. We need to shift our perspective and focus on finding solutions for all of South Africa’s people: The individuals who pass each other on the streets, sidewalks, and in shopping centres, regardless of their background or colour. These are the people who interact amicably with one another, whether they’re cheering for our Springbok rugby team or celebrating our world championship victories alongside fans of every colour, united in their support for Siya Kolisi and Rassie as a remarkable leader duo. Just look at the cutaways to the crowd shots on TV. That is US! Saying “Dankie Boere" could simply serve to appease a specific customer group that supports your music, or it could be a counter to Julius Malema, which I believe we should dismiss entirely. The results of the recent elections demonstrate that South Africans on the ground, genuinely want to collaborate and work together. They are eager to find solutions for the future of our children. Therefore, what you’re saying is dividing US and it does not contribute to a constructive resolution.

I hate to burst your bubble, but the drunk black guy you laugh with at the bar might still want to confiscate your house, regardless of whether he gets along with you personally or not. Our recent elections didnt show much. All the votes not cast for ANC & EFF went to MK, whose members believe in much the same rhetoric as Ernst and his guest are discussing here. Afrikaners are in for a fight if they want their future descendants to still have rights in this country, and that fight is going to require a bit of soldiarity, so "Dankie Boere" it is.
@Johnboy40742 ай бұрын
The reality is that the rise of poverty provides fertile ground for this type of rhetoric. A better approach would be to not only focus on building up Afrikaners, but to focus on the eradication of poverty. I know this is already a focus for Afriforum, but rather than respond to all of these clowns focus on direct and clear threats, and highlight the drivers of poverty and efforts to eradicate. Just a thought.
