Honestly, these pirates could've gotten us better stuff for season 3 than the fossil hunt that hardly even got anywhere in the end since the cloning laboratory had to be blown up. Plus, I really like Thundertron's design. It would've been so cool to see on-screen!

This actually feeds back into one of the things I disliked about Transformers Prime. One of the things I love about the Transformers franchise is how many unique and interesting concept it is able to explore. Just look at MTMTE, Beast Wars, Animated, Cyberverse and even the original cartoon. Its a shame that Prime had to scrap so many concepts either because of budget, animation limit, cooperate mandates or its connection to the WFC games. The Wreckers ? No, cant model all of them. Trypticon actually transforming ? No way with this budget and animation. Starscream clones ? Can't be anyone we know because it would break the timeline. Mech being an actually interesting human antagonist ? Can't resolve their story with a more satisfying end so better remove them entirely within two episodes. The Breakdown arc ? Sorry, no time for that. Predacons ? Cool concept but we'll just shelve them for the finale. Instead of just recycling the concepts they just straight up shelve them entirely.

Mate, the costs would have been unsustainable. Prime revived the animated aspect of the transformers franchise, but it did not bring enough income to justify such expansion. For the budget available, i think it is fine.

@@thestatistician6076 thats just what I said. But you have to understand that an out-fiction excuse can't solve an in-fiction problem. Budget or Not the Problem still hangs on the story. Other shows managed to balance their finances with their ideas and animation style, so its not like its impossible.

@@justsomewritingfan2202 I saw some videos on the beginning of prime and you could tell they were headed down a bad path when they said they were putting everything into state of the art graphics. Executives dont even want to bother with things besides optimus and megatron. Hasbro is actually doing wonders with My Little Pony and Power Rangers Lore and it saddens me because its so obvious how they've left transformers behind to rust in nostalgia like those colonies. The only thing anyone at hasbro believes in transformers for is their toys and profits.

Am I the only one that finds it funny that the pirates are more unreasonable then Megatron? Like at least he tried to talk it out before increasing his kill count. Also I think it would have made more sense that for the season 2 finnaly, Megatron was actually reviving Cybertron but the pirates show up and reck stuff. Heck I think cybervers use some of the ideas that would have been used

Predacons are so badly implemented and used in Prime that I could only see them as a pretty bad toy comercial, what I find funny is couldn't they simple make the pirates predacons? A pirate dragon is a cool concept and the pirates being more based on mystical creatures still would make sense like just throw some bull like they are based in the creatures of the planets they came from and is fine

I’ve recently been thinking about making a transformers ttrpg, and I’ve been watching a lot of your videos because I know you do such deep dives into the lore of the show. I had no IDEA that there were plans of pirates. Something like this is incredible to know, and it just makes me more excited that there is so much more I can add and continue to make while also sticking to the lore that TFP has set up for us (while also rewriting the TF:RID2015 sequel in the process)

Honestly to be frank this would have been interesting 🤔 Both side could see how messed up this war is and stop them because lets be honest yes what they did was horrible but it was for the better good tho i don't agree with what they did But the piratecons? Piratebots? Nvm on the name.. this would have been much more interesting but lets be honest the predacons were very interesting since these specific predacons species yes species was only showen in this series i find it interesting why couldn't they make more than 3 seasons their potential for it and the main new bad guy could have been Galvatron ik ot doesn't mention him in the book but is it possible the the cons spit up in ships so thrir is a possibility that their is more of them left? Not knowing the war is over the autobots have to change them to good to stop the malpilation of Galvatron as he was the main person working for unicorn And we never got to see the combiners with someone like bruticus or devastator was a here it would have been way more interesting with adding autobot possibility allys from other sides like the predacons or insectacons their still on the moon could black arachnid be the next new villan who knows or vengeful autobots turned bad? Their are tons of ides to run with

Hasbro is first and foremost a toy company. They did the same with MLP G4, either dropoing or compressing 2-3 extra seasons into S9. Hopefully they'll revisit the idea in a different series. Maybe.

Personally I would’ve hated it if they killed Megatron, and don’t say that they did it in the original because he technically came back as Galvatron and that was fine. The season three we got was perfectly good and getting rid of it for something else that belongs in a sequel (Like robots in disguise) would’ve been a dumb move

Don't know if it's too late but I'll put in my two cents. I actually really like the predacons. Although this is probably me being me being bias but I fucking love dragons! So I hardly complain about them. If TFP were to have more seasons & stick with the pirates I think it'd be interesting & fun! But admittedly I would still love the predacons to be part of it some way or another, just because again, I love dragons. That's about it really.

I think thundertron would positvely try to turn sigma 17 agenst the autobot (or the uppers that's what I now refuer the autobots) by just asking them one simple question because they were from the early era of the golden age posiblely and the same one to blurr and salvege. Now here's the question "why is it that the countcil never even tried to find you or any of the rescue bot teams at all?" I have a theory on that but it's too coneted to my show ideas but it's juciey.
