This is a perfect test location! Work with the council to get this test area created !!! The ground scraped down where the pit location is. Clear all the brush to allow a triangular area that opens up the pit area through to and includes removing a few of the shrubs along the sidewalk that runs along the main highway and that sidewalk into the car park. Cement the entire triangle. Set rubbish containers out onto the newly cemented triangular area along the back side of the triangle….. four well-marked wire containers WITHOUT LIDs: one marked for CANS, one for GLASS, one for PLASTICS , and one for PAPER and GARBAGE! (A picture of each for those who don’t understand English. Place a wrought-iron frame around and over the area. With an antique style lamp post over the area lighting a sign that pictures a garden… it’s beds filled with beautiful flowers and ivy and a stone fence with a sign over it: “KEEP ENGLAND BEAUTIFUL” If

Good job. Did you know councils can issue community protection notices (CPNs) to businesses and individuals to clean litter on their land and to prevent it. It's an offence if they fail to. Maybe consider asking the council to do this as that is neglect and has been sat there for a while I would've thought.

Are you saving up collected aluminum cans for when the government or the government requires the aluminum can manufacturers to set up collection points for them to pay people for turning them in? I think it wise!

@@GerardOconnell-q4d Money incentives many good things. I can’t imagine how much worse our U.S. littering problem would be if it weren’t for the ability to get money for used aluminum cans. Love going along with you on your picking treks…. One thing I really like is seeing the English communities and countryside and your tour guide narrative.
