...I was there in 1992 and I still have the bit of the lake I picked up in my office to this day. Good Memories... Hi from Canada!!

Our own pitch lake. Yes its a God given gift to us. A very rich natural resource. The best pitch in the world. In the year 2021 we still have roads throughout T&T in deplorable conditions.

I visited my family in Trinidad and experienced motion sickness from riding an hour on their roads! I've always wondered why they wouldn't repair them🤔
@faithjames49082 жыл бұрын
Well u come fix it for we nah 🤨😒😒😒😒🤔
@johnnyyang1827 Жыл бұрын
well, you see, a lot of countries demand pitch from trinidad, and also the corrupt government. PNM was elected and the prime minister, dr. keith rowley, doesn't want to fix the roads, and spends hundreds of millions of dollars on carnival instead.

I was born and raised in TnT. I grew up in Rio Claro and would visit my relatives in La Brea. Once my cousins took me to swim in the pitch lake. I was 8 yrs old at the time, so I didn't understand the importance of the lake. However, I enjoyed myself bathing in the water there. Man I miss TnT!

Virtual tours of everywhere in Trinidad and not a place in Tobago. Very Interesting

This entire production was paid for out of pocket. Tobago involves higher costs. If you or anyone you know would be willing to sponsor us, we’d be more than happy to cover tobago. Thanks

Good tour but some corrections needed: La Brea is the name of the pitch lake in Trinidad. Tar is another name for pitch.

When we see good road in Trinidad Please let us know. 🙏🇹🇹, It's like these road pavers using something looking like pitch to lay on our roads. Can they buy or use the correct thing ? The thing mashing up like Brown Sugar. Sweet T & T. ent !

They don't use the pitch from the lake locally, it is exported to other countries. They get more money from selling it. TnT import bitumen that cost less.

Trinidad have bad governing and discipline with all this resources that country supposed to have the best roads in the world besides the government should sell the oil,gas,cement and pitch lakes to the citizens through public shares in the government local bank first citizens that would've elevate the people equally than just the 1% there would be a booming middle class
