On New Years Day 2015, I took my kids to La Brea Village, Trinidad - to visit the local Pitch Lake. It wasn't a planned outing but luckily I carried along my camera... On arrival I met a stranger, he introduced himself to us as Ray - and told us that he was a tour guide for the lake. So we got a safe parking spot and then followed Mr. Ray down to the lake, it was there the history lessons started... he asked me to take out my camera and capture photos as we were going along, I decided to do video footage instead.
So this was my visit that I wanted to share with the rest of the world, it was very informative and I met a wonderful old guy... and made a good friend. I didn't walk with any external mic, and the camera was held by hand - I do hope everyone enjoys this short documentary of the Pitch Lake in Trinidad, I provided sub-titles for a better understanding of what was being explained by Mr. Ray.

I've been to Trinidad, the food is the best food I've ever had and the people are extremely nice, I'm 28yrs old now but when I get old and it's time to retire, I want to spend my last golden yrs there. I fell in love with the Island, the people and the food. Trinidad & Tobago has a special place in my heart. I plan on building a house there so I'll have somewhere to live when I move there.

I experienced the lake two years ago and indeed its a wonder, God is really the chief architect of His Creation. The Lake is a living Womb of Creation rather than Water it produces the Stuff for roads and roofs and other products.

Lord All Mighty's creation. A gift of Lord to the humanity. Its strange how Lord's miracles are kept hidden except for a few, from the mainstream media. I see absolutely no documentary on this !! Iam sure u cannot use this tar for free? Or that crude oil?

You must love Jehovah your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. You must love your neighbor as yourself. Jesus the anointed is Lord! Repent and be baptized and believe the Gospel.

Someone should be bottling this methane! You can sell methane like gas or natural gas it’s energy! You guys can make a fortune from the methane alone then you process your Asphalt and export it! You will NEVER HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT MONEY ANYMORE! YOU HAVE A BLESSING NOT A TRAGEDY! 😏🖖🏼❤️🇺🇸

What will it take to get into that tick skull that i can type and state what i want, And if by being stupid i achieved 3 houses ,one beach house ,40 acres of land mortgage free before the age of 40,not to mention a patent for a product on its way to market, and have traveled all over the world ,well thanks for the you go girl, a well earned achievement by my own effort and hard work, and yet i dont have to insult people to get my message across, its obviously you grew up around people calling you stupid when it fact it takes a first time to know a theory to become knowledgeable on an issue,i feel sorry for your children, please dont breed.we dont need any more hurt children to contribute to any more pain passed on by their broken parents.
