OK that was just amazing with that incredible advice of how to actually develop a young kid into Bebo to be a picture and not hurt his or her arm in the process it might be considered old school with today’s thought process but honestly the way that Leo Mazzone taught it a lot more people could be helped that style of coaching pitchers

I gauge Mazzone's success by what he did in Baltimore after leaving the Braves. While on the Braves he had the young pitchers talking to the 3 big guns on days they weren't pitching. All he did was eat his seeds and bounce back and forth on the bench. I'm surprised Maddux, Glavine or Smoltz weren't sent to the mound instead of this guy. He did nothing for the Baltimore staff.

You gauge his success based on 2 years instead of the 15 years of unprecedented success? Yeah he had the big 3 but he had countless guys come through that had great careers as a brave and fall off the second that they leave.

@@alexgriffith4881 2 or 3 years? he had the big 3 for years. he had the young guys talk to the 3. he went to baltimore and was fired because they realized he was a huge mistake.

Leo Mazzone couldn't Manage today because of the obsession with analytics. I hate watching the way this Braves team manages pitchers. I'm convinced Brian Snitker has cost us many games because of his pitching changes during a game.
