@@ChiefBlue4298Cowboys got lucky in 1995 on two counts: 1. O’Donnell’s two picks to Larry Brown that came with no receivers close by at all and gave them short fields. And 2. The 49ers who won it all in 94 had injuries (in particular losing Steve Young for five games), and without that, they are likely the one seed and Dallas could’ve had to win in San Francisco in a year where they lost really badly to them at home with Elvis Grbac. The Niners lost to the Packers, but they could’ve dodged them if they were the one seed. So Super Bowl 30 could’ve been 49ers-Steelers, or with the actual matchup gone the other way with a better quarterback for Pittsburgh.

I can hardly call some of these games chokes. The 2021 and 2023 teams were bad teams that did not deserve to make the playoffs and got what they deserved in the Wild Card round. Everybody knew that the 2016 team wasn't going to beat far superior New England. The 2015 team went up against a historically great defense without Antonio Brown and still had the lead deep in the fourth quarter. Yes, some of these games were chokes, but the saying "they choked" is used WAY too liberally nowadays. There is such thing as being defeated by a team that's simply better.

Also in 2016, they were fortunate that Cincinnati choked the game away. Would they have also lost to Denver?

Wow, thank you. I never knew what a playoff bitch the Steelers have been lo these many years. They are the Playoff Buffalo Bills of Super Bowls. And yet, with all those playoff games, youd think Pittsburgh would have more Championship titles than their underwhelming 6, especially when ya consider the Steelers have been in existence 13 years longer than the Browns, actually 16 since the Browns were stolen for 3 years, and the Steelers still have 2 less titles than the Cleveland Browns.

Cowher is a legend and I love him, but he choked ALOT of playoff games away during those years. The guy couldve went to what..three or four SBs if he just had the right QB to get him there, or in one case win it

Maybe make a video of playoff losses post 2010 the last season they made a SB. 3-8 in the playoffs since then with 5 seasons of no playoffs. Also Pittsburgh has not win a playoff game since the 2016 DIVISIONAL ROUND GAME at KC, you that 18-16 win where Alex Smith missed didn't see tyreek twice when he want wide open and the game Kansas city realized they reached their ceiling with Alex Smith.

@walterhervas8064 I don't think all the titles should count. But green bay won 3 championships with the same core of players as the 2 superbowls. If where going all the way back to the 70s then we can count the 60s too.
