I'm honestly so jealous that I didn't get to experience growing up in the Burroughs of NYC. I know I'll never truly understand it but I feel like I can experience it through the screen sometimes. It just seems like on any given day you can just be walking down the street and see the craziest shit that you couldn't make up even if you tried. There are so many wild characters and personalities from NY. I grew up in a small town in the Midwest which I'm sure has its own advantages and unique qualities that people from NY will never truly understand but man does it seem like NY would be a fun place to grow up. If you grew up there it probably just feels normal to you but where I'm from we don't have any of this stuff. I know it can't be all awesome and that everything has pros and cons but goddamn the sense of adventure just looks fucking cool.

I know this comment is 4 years old but I'm just now reading it. You don't have to have grown up in NYC to experience it. Just take a trip there one day and walk around. You'll see it everywhere you go.
@@andiuptown1711 i know, and agree with you 100%, but since this person can't go back in time, when they posted said that the closest they could experience is watching videos, my suggestion was what i think is the next best thing if they want to walk around and see crazy characters in person.

I don't know how many times I've looked up episodes of Munches, but you guys are so lucky to eat these fantastically delicious pizzas. Here in Korea, so many things have developed and it has a cosmopolitan character, but one pizza is really garbage. With the exception of a few high-street pizzerias, most pizzerias sell factory-made, perfectly circular dough with a few toppings for around $20. The pepperoni pizza also sells too expensive without even adding a few slices of pepperoni. The important thing is that Pizzaiola does not make the dough itself, but uses the dough made by the factory. It tastes like garbage. Or the taste of melted plastic. You don't know how much I envy you.

When I lived in NYC I took for granted how easy it was to find great pizza. The term "If you can make it there you can make it anywhere" has a bit of truth to it. Now imagine making it there for nearly a century, how good you would have to be. Now that I moved out of NY none of the restaurants around me have any history and most of the food has no soul to it, with a few rare exceptions. I miss NY.

Just more of his usual wigger banter. Ariyan has been doing this ever since he decided to call himself "Action Bronson". When he's with his family he drops that whole wigger act, like pretending his first Hiphop album was the NWA cassette album in 1991.
