I just wanna say that my all time favorite story of yours is "the thing in the basement is getting better at mimicking people" it was so bone chilling it made me cry I thought it was so good I practically gave up on future horror movies, I was all like "ha! Why watch the bad horror movies that have been coming out lately when I have the greatest horror stories I've ever seen!" I absolutely love your channel and I really hope to see more cryptid monster stories, oh! And P.S the story that you did that was about wires burrowing out of people's bodies after hearing a noise in the radio, that was probably the coolest story I've ever heard. Besides the mimic one, it was freaking awesome!
@justblaze470711 ай бұрын
I totally agree. That one and "The thing in my yard has been telling me the most horrible things" and "I've been living my life out of order". They all have enough world building where you are invested deeply in how you think things are, and then the end flips it on its head without a sugar coated happy ending.

For people wondering this story ends before. it's from the point of view of a scientist in antarctica( or Alaska I can't remember) who found the journal on a someone who froze to death but shouldn't be there because he went missing on a mountain way too far away. Great narration as always

There's a brilliant universe here to be expanded upon, both with this location itself and with what actually happened to Yago and any others who do what he did. The idea of a multidimensional storm which yanks people between realities is a solid basis for a canon so I really hope we see more, especially people who return to dimensions they're previously been to and either meet new people to guide or even better, old friends they thought they'd never see again. Either way they could start piecing together the truth of it all. Excellent storytime by all involved as usual!

Hey, glad you are finding a way to get through. Lost my dad about a decade ago, a decade after my mother, both too young, and two years after my brother, much too young. I believe if those that have passed would want us to know one thing, it's that life is for living. If we can find a way forward, and maybe even discover joy again, our loved ones would be so happy and proud of us. We can let ourselves see beauty again in honor of those we've lost, and make our own lives everything those lost cannot. If anything, at least we took everything this life had to offer us, and that, I promise, is the best thing we can do, for ourselves, and those we've lost.

I'm a scientist, specifically I'm working on a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. When the narrator says "I'm an extremophile" I had to laugh, in a good way! To me, an extremophile is a microorganism which lives in an extreme environment. This can be extreme heat or cold, extreme pH, extreme pressure, etc. I work with an organism called Pyrococcus furiosus that grows optimally at 100°C (212°F). These organisms most often tied to their extreme - if conditions are too moderate they cannot survive. Below 70°C, P. furiosus dies. They laugh at what we consider normal or habitable. I have always found there to be something literary, even poetic, about these strange organisms pushing the boundaries of life as we understand it. That's why I study them! Anyways, I thought it was cool to see this word used in a bit of a different way. I paused at minute two to write this comment, so we'll see how the story aligns with the concept of the weird and wonderful microorganisms that are extremophiles. 💛

Yeah, I thought of microbes in extreme environments too. :) How does P. furiosus manage to survive in these temps? Asking for a friend on Venus...

Your theory is exactly what I thought of, upon hearing about the "black mass". I am kind of sad that it was never explored more, but when you consider the sounds of eternal screams on the wind..... Since they were deadly cold, it sort of makes sense about the rain.

Just finished. Great story! I love the audio effects as always, but what really got me on this one was how descriptive the events were. I cant help but wonder if he really did make it back, or at least was finally allowed to die. Maybe the storm is linked to the ones back home that brought people here, and that was the trigger to transport them. Probably not exactly what my mother imagined me listening to while I decorated the Christmas tree, but hey- it looks beautiful, and I never once got distracted Great story by the author, and great narration by you guys :) Always the best at sound effects, I'm always surprised by how great everything comes together in your videos. I think this was my favorite out of all the ones recently released. The fear of unknown monstrosities lurking below and a few more other things. I don't want to ruin it, but survival horror stories are awesome. Imagine a horror story that took place on a raft in an unknown ocean. That would be awesome.
