1861 ▪︎ Europe is surrounded by wars, coalitions and pacts. Nationalism begins to make itself felt, bringing great empires to their knees. Despite this, the world still doesn't know what will happen soon: something terrible will start killing people, the fourteenth century plague will seem like a flu compared to what is about to happen.
