Ive been playing ESO for years...and I'm GARBAGE at PvP...I get the skills and stuff..but my armor and equipment/potions/food..I have no idea what to do...so I only last a few seconds...I've watched DOZENS of videos on how to be better..and still come away confused because of the language people use. They automatically assume you know everything about the game and you are max level when you go into PvP...but Kevduit...I understand this!!! I don't have any of the things you said in this video ..but at least I know how things work now

I have question I hope some of you may be able to answer, I've started playing ESO recently, but I have very little knowledge of the MMO meta. My current main is a templar Nord, and based on what I've seen the best build (if I don't want to be a healer) would be magick DPS, at least that's what most people recommend. I like to think of myself role-playing as a weapon wielding crusader, but I will transition to staff wielding if I have to to maximize efficiency. Tldr: Is there any practical differences between being a magick DPS build vs a stam DPS build?

David Martin look at stamina templar builds, not magika templar builds, there are lots of stamina templar builds. Nords are a terrible race choice for magika builds. Stamina templars are good, they have the only source of minor fracture and can improve group dps just the same as magika templar, the difference is very minor. Good gear setup for PvE is hulking draugr and hundings, or Vicous Ophidian and hundings. For pvp you can wear hundings and hulking draugr, or any dps and sustain set.

I feel like Viper might be an okay replacement, but with it's recent nerf, the poison effect seems much slow. I'd say try vicecanon of venom. It allows you to put a MASSIVE poison dot on your enemy (from crouch/stealth) and then the plague slinger on top of that. Just my immediate thoughts

Yupperz. I know it doesn't, and I'm told that constantly, but remember, you're not going for tankiness. You can jam a ton of CP into your tree to gain major amounts of crit resist, but this build is focused moreso on damage and disease stuff. You want to be able to put as much force into your strikes as possible, but you will still have around 2k crit resist due to your CP
