The Plains of Boyle (Choral Version)

With Lyrics and additional music by Frankie Simon, this is a choral arrangement of the traditional hornpipe "The Plains of Boyle". The video depicts some of the areas of The Plains that are mentioned in the lyrics. Sung by The Choir of St.Joseph's Church, Boyle, Co.Roscommon and accompanied by the Con Tempo String Quartet, it was recorded in front of a live audience at Boyle Arts Festival 2019.
