They have zero clue! The whole not having a fourth QB on the practice squad is laughable! They clearly don’t know that people on practice squads are free agents! They could sign another practice squad QB tomorrow, but why? That takes reps away from the 2 rookies, and takes a roster spot away from all the DBs and oline and Dlinemen they have stashed there! These guys are just trying to whip up the casuals! All about the clicks!!

Do yourselves a favor and go listen to what Adam Schefter who was just on eei said. Funny thing is the rest of the league and every analyst out there is praising the Pats approach and the development of Maye so far. That he’s AHEAD of schedule! These guys, just like the rest of the Boston sports media are completely clueless! If they knew what they were talking about they’d be working for Fox Sports or ESPN making millions! Go listen to Kurt Warner or Chase Daniles, 2 highly respected former QBs and highly respected analysts!

The Pats weren't the only team to swing and miss on Aiyuk...asked the Steelers, the Browns, or Washington. It doesn't make us fans feel any better, but it's just facts. The Nkeal Harry pick over DK Metcalf , or A J Brown in the draft, it's a different story, but that was during the former BB regime.

@@clownwacko58 well he is a pretty good quarterback and I am sure a lot of teams would love to have him. Football is a team sport and usually it takes more than one guy to win championships. And the chargers have been plagued with bad coaching and injuries to key players not really all his fault

Why do you guys continue to harp on Jerod's comment about drake playing better at preseason? He meant it literal, but to take it this serious is insane. Its the damn pre-season. A preseason in which he didn't look great under center and he still has a mountain of things to learn. You guys complain about this coaching staff and org day after day while marketing yourself different from the idiots down the street. It's getting a little old seeing softer version of the same tired criticism. The same org that doesn't know what they're doing is somehow good enough to take a player that was 1 year away and have him ready week 1????? Boston media is all over the place.

I used to really value Greg's opinion, but it seems like all he does is whine about.. whatever... what doesn't make sense? Sit the rookie for a year!! Greg was really good at the changeivrr of staff and transitiin for the Pats. It seems vlear he was a very string Belicheck guy..who wasnt...but it seems he is a cup half empty media guy..who will make the Patriots lives harder...i think it would be wise to just accept and report on he doesnt really know what the Pats are rhinking. I heard him critize the training schedule..really...maybe Greg should consider he is not the coach he thinks he is. Cant listen anymore....

If Mayo's coaching quality is similar to his horrible ability to interact with the media, then he won't make it past week 8 of 2025. It is an absolute joke listening to ANY of the sound bytes of his pressers. It provides no ease, confidence, and it actually embarrassing.

If Drake may wear a Black QB, and after a very successful preseason, he would be starting this weekend. He would be starting like the two quarterbacks picked ahead of him in the draft - one and two. Maye is not starting. Why is that?
