I know you are a couple episodes ahead, but you can place beacons at your base and at places you want to remember. They can be labeled and I believe they show up on your compass.

Didn't did those yet. Honestly I don't need them, somehow I remember all the locations. I'll see later in the game if I'll need them or not. Thanks for the tip and for being here @erinrobertson-brower303 .

You can find circuit board's in all the ship's when you have a t2 deconstruction tool.
