Unarguably, not only does the man remains a face of the envisioned Nigeria the people seek, he has indeed become a credible voice and a powerul force that could lead the country out of the woods. He clearly understands the issues and readily provides, with clarity, the practical and pointed solutions to the myriad of national malaise and socioeconomic maladies to which our clime is rife with. Sad to note that those who profiteer from the endemic corruption in the country and the systemic rots in the body polity would sure do anything and everything to stall and halt any people-centred solutions - the like of what Peter Obi proffers and has come to represent.

Nigeria's population growth stems from the porous northern boarders where nomadic Fulani people are coming into Nigeria and claiming citizenship by virtue of speaking Hausa. Nigeria have a substantial population from Niger, Chad, Mali and more West African nomads. Nigeria will never be affluent as a nation with an unchecked migration. Northern Nigeria is a huge problem and is unsustainable with the constitution skew to favour of the north for the sole benefit of the Fulani people and not the indigenous Hausas. My comment is not about tribe rather population control of those Fulani who are not Nigerians.

CK ROY, you hit the nail on the head, I have been harping on this point for a number of years now. That is exactly the sole reason why Nigeria will never attain it's rightful place in the committee of nations unless....unless Southern Nigeria has the fortitude and cahunas to go it alone and enforce strict boundaries and policies which will enable it forge a secure, stable and meritorious economy. A security and FinTech pact with Israel would go a long way into helping launch a new Nigeria (Southern confederacy) into the 21st century.

Interesting points. I've seen a lot of comments with similar ideas and orientations. There are certain issues however that i have with these SEPARATISTS TYPE IDEAS. YOU CAN PROBABLY GO MOST OTHER AFRIKAN NATIONS AND FIND THAT MANY HAVE THOSE SAME IDEAS..The problem is that the solutions of separtism WILL NOT WORK FOR WELL BEING, SECURITY, AND ANBUNDANCE FOR THE COLLECTIVE OF AFRIKAN PEOPLE. Afrikan ethnic groups need to grasp the macro big picture of which they are not at the moment. People need to understand that there is a system that oppresses and targets the collective and it needs confusion and division to accomplish this preplanned agenda of domination. When caucasians, Asians, Arabs, Indians, THE 🌎 WORLD INTERACTS WITH AFRIKANS THEY DO NOT DISTINGUISH BETWEEN FULANIS, IGBOS, HAUSAS, KIKIYUS, ASHANTIS, SOMALIS, ETHIOPIANS, ETC. They see just black people to be used and manipulated. They do not see or care about any differences between you and FULANIS so while you are busy hating on other melanated AFRIKANS THAT ARE BRAINWASHED AND OPPRESSED THEY ARE FIGURING OUT HOW TO USE THE DIVISIONS AND LACK OF UNITY TO DOMINATE ALL OF US. We simply have to grasp the global macro view. We as Afrikans are never going to be free and prosperous so long as there is LACK of UNITY. Afrikans simply are going to have to transcend tribal affiliations for collective survival. Tribalism will not free Afrikan people ever in this world in which caucasians and Asians have lasers, hightech helicopter gunships, stinger missiles, bio weapons, chemical weapons, nuclear weapons, all manufacturing, think tanks, the banking you name it. The fulas and hausas are just as brainwashed and messed up as Afrikan Christians. Just as Afrikan Christians unconsciously venerate and worship WHITE PEOPLE, AFRIKAN BLACK MUSLIMS DO THE SAME EXCEPT WITH THEM ITS CAUCASIAN NEANDERTHAL BEAST ARABS. They in their brainwashed spirit actually think they are superior to Afrikans who are Christian or who embrace authentic Afrikan spirituality. Igbos and other speraptists WILL NEVER EVER BE TREATED OR PERCEIVED AS ANY DIFFERENT. We have a collective destiny. We're simply going to have to unify based oncollective interests. We're not going to change anything until this is accomplished. We're going to have to collectively heal together
