Here's a theory I had about the whole inner demons thing: Hatred, when disguised as Builderman, tried to get us to succumb to both Greed and Solitude (Greed by telling us to go take the Tix, and Solitude by reminding us that we're alone and it's our fault). However, it wanted us to kill Fear. Fear, being on our side, tried to help us realize Hatred was right next to us the whole time. Hatred made us kill Fear because of this. That could mean that we are unable to feel any sort of fear in later chapters, which might be a problem for us.

"A chill runs down your spine" implies that Fear is still alive. Just much weaker. Which could mean, the other soulpieces are also alive.

The Player never ever resolved the issue of "killing off" their emotions, and I feel like it simply made it worse for us, since we went through the same process of killing and taking ITEMS similar to Prologue 'til now, except with a few glimmering pieces of hope, such as: *kyoko.* The prologue to Chapter 2 is the prologue of its own, from introducing Noobador and Red and Blue as recurring characters, and Cruel King and Griefer being early warning or foreshadowing of Chapter 3 and what's to come. Cruel King has Solitude and Fear, having solitude maybe because of his obsession that keeps further than closer to his people as he may think, and the Griefer having Greed and Hatred because he is a menace and an actual prick, though either of 'em have their redeemig qualities. Cruel King already taught the player something, wonder when we can visit Griefer. I also have a sort of theory that the emotions represent seem like a warning, and with each sword is each trait to confront: - Firebrand - Greed (the consumption of fire, endless hunger.) - Windforce - Solitude (wind signifies freedom, and with that can also mean the abyss; emptiness.) - Darkheart - Fear (need i say more?) - Illumina - Hatred (ruthlessness, the chase, the fuel, knowing how Illumina functions.) *!! It doesn't have to be SOLELY any of the four traits, they only have to be a representative. It isn't natural that they can ONLY have one.* and the final 8th chapter being the test that challenges what we have learned... but there is a time travel implication we had, from the very first pieces of dialogue when Terry tries to wake us up, and the snowmen implying that as well (especially the Big Snowman, telling us about how we want to return.)

The player is REALLY wild. Like, we all know The Voices, who ruined Cruel King and mainly Griefer. I have a theory that the player is controlled by the SFOTH swords, Like, Just how the characters were controlled by the voices. We are being controlled by the voices, for collecting the swords. The proof for it, is when in demo 3, our character went for the ghostwalker with really being impatient. The voices got us to grab the sword. I also noticed, That the emotions acctually represent the things that we have done. Greed - mainly, Items. Also, we were GREEDY about having bigger items. Hyperball. Iron sword. Soltidue - NPC'S that we talk to, they rarely want to have an actual talk with us. Bassically, the feeling of having no friends , who to talk to. But, there is kyoko, who is another adventurer and you can talk with her probably in the upcoming demos too, she will bassically boost the motivation and damaging the SOLTIDUE of the body. Hatred, aka builderman, has talked about the things that bring soltidue. Family, friends, joy. The character does not have any of these. Hatred brings a lonely-sad feeling, that summons the boss. Fear - The fear, that you will die. Yeah, the fear that you will fail a mission of a sword. Our FEAR is not very great, as my theory stands that the voices controlled us to touch the ghostwalker. Also represents the fear that we get when builderman shows his TRUE colors. HATRED - Now, you know that this is the strongest emotion. Yes, the STRONGEST emotion. Grief as our strongest emotion is already not good, but, when you have the "Confusion" effect when you have in the hatred bossfight, when try to attack, you get confused, and STAB someone. Yes, when you get confused, you litterary STAB someone or YOUR FRIEND (Londoner bri'ish man be like). Despite that the player might be British , it is still really crazy that when we get confused we stab someone while in a bossfight. I really wonder what will happen to the player after he finishes all the SFOTH swords... Wait, the Periastons? Oh shit, here we go again...

the minigames before the bossfights also give me some ideas: greed: the minigame is going through a maze and hitting hands. if you don't hit the hands reaching for you, you get teleported back to the start. this might mean that greed is holding the player back, making them re-do everything (like greed ruins people in real life) solitude: the minigame is going through an invisible maze and going to very specific directions. one wrong move will set you back to start. i don't really know but i think it's that you mentally hurt yourself if you don't do something perfect you want to go back and re-do it, since the player might feel isolated and try to blend in with others so they don't get too much attention (just maybe) fear: the minigame is you go through a forest, disobeying the warnings. this might be the player attempting to overcome their fears (if you go the wrong direction once, you restart the minigame) and if they fail once they have to restart all over to stop being afraid of something hatred: the minigame is the player trying to find hatred's heart while getting constantly hit by their own uncontrolled wrath. i think this might be that if you don't manage/control/get rid of your anger (with the ghost potion), it will only hurt you and set you back yapping complete, returning to hq

Small detail: You could also see the twitching of Builder man (Hatred) throughout the journey in the player's mind, a very subtle detail that can be seen very clearly after defeating fear. Very fun to analyze small details ^ - ^

We never killed the emotions, we just made them into a lesser and weaker version. For example; when you unwrap the heart, one of the dialogues is “a chill runs down your spine..” which means fear still exists, just a much weaker version. A few additions! 1. I think having Anger as a little emotion next to Hatred is perfect. That's because Anger is basically the first stage of Hatred but can't be compared to it in terms of "evilness" - that's shown by the fact that it's extremely tiny. Surprisingly, it *helps* us by giving a tip instead of helping Hatred. Don't know why that is. 2. In the future Hatred will no longer have control over us (most likely), like you said. It may try to use others to get us killed but it might want to get them killed too. Something interesting is that you can't really permanently get rid of hatred in any way which means that perhaps it will sneakily find its way to make us kill more until it has control again. There is *[SPOILERS]* also a 6th sword with a dark appearance and name which may foreshadow Chapter 6's focus, as well as *[SPOILERS again]* the 7th Chapter's sword being named the exact opposite of Hatred, implying that another likewise fight with Hatred will be the finale. 3. Not really an addition, but I'm absolutely glad you took references from Cruel King and Griefer as well. 4. This probably won't be the case, no swords seems fitting for this, BUT, after Griefer almost died, he seemed quite resistant towards hate and his text started appearing as *green.* Maybe that's going to be a different, stronger feeling - for specific people, if not for all, although it could also just be using his main color to make the dialogue more intense with no lore included whatsoever. 5. The Cruel King seems to appear in our side when he understands we're here for good - might be a little additional idea just to make the game more interesting by having assistance but it could also be part of lore. It would be interesting if another boss joined us at some point, since, no one else would have evil intentions unless they're being manipulated by Hatred. 6. Fitting since this is *[SPOILERS]* related with Chapter 6. Perhaps the dark-themed sword in C6 is related with something similar to fear, as, if there's one strong force that's not controlled by hate it's got to be the Slasher (Jason Voorhees or whatever). He might contribute with some sort of darkness but he might also just be a halloween-themed boss for not much of a reason. _my hands hurt..-_ Edits: 7. Shedletsky in C3 says "so they've gone after the others..." with dark red text on "they've" meaning that the reason Hatred is in people might be because of, perhaps a group of, specific characters. 8. Shedletsky seems like a nice guy who's only trying to help the world but... Taking in consideration that we came from the future, as well as Greed's mannequin's dialogue (e.g. why did *he* take them away from *you?*), it's really possible for either Shedletsky betraying us in the end or us becoming uncontrollable and, well, evil. 9. The representation of feelings is incredible in this video, and thanks for making it in the first place! I only have one thing to add so far here: Solitude OST the best- Even if not, it's beyond perfect. The atmosphere hits different depending on who you're with, or even if you're in solo mode. The music sounds nostalgic although it's never really been heard before and, there is a bit of regret in that fight, if you ask me. Isolation acts like someone curious, someone flawless, someone innocent, and yet, we kill it. It's just so astonishing how they've put personalities in feelings. I mean, they're all so weak compared to Hatred, both realistically and in combat. We kill what felt wrong like killing with no holding back, easily, while Hatred is so much harder to kill even though it must be 'dead' for better. Perhaps that foreshadows evil being 'stronger' in future chapters like C6 until the finale. More things coming soon-! Also updating 7-9 🙏 10. There's another adventurer we keep crossing paths with several times in Block Tales, with forced dialogue, too. In C3 specifically they talk about supporting us and asking for help. At some point they say something like "Don't be surprised if I ask for help too someday~!" which, might be completely normal but it might imply that they're going through something similar to us. 11. Blue seems quite disappointed when Red mentions how awesome Noobador is right before giving us the assist card. Perhaps Blue knows more than Red about something or maybe she's just got different, darker goals. 12. This is nowhere near a theory, it's just the unbelievable truth: Block Tales is free to play and consists of no gamepasses other than ignorable donations, rewarding you with a sick dance. 13. Block Tales is awesome. Coding-wise, music-wise, battling-wise, difficulty-wise, lore-wise. EVERYTHING! So why doesn't *this* represent Roblox instead of bulls@it (sorry) like Dress To Impress or Escape Scary Grandma (SCARY OBBY), huh, David-? 14. There are hints of Chara's (from some Undertale AUs) main music on the second half of Hatred' OST; interesting. (the exact melody with a similar, if not same, instrument) 15. Chapter 3 was honestly a game changer. For many reasons. But a funny one would be the fact that Jason probably won't be by our side as an ally like Cruel King and possibly Griefer (thanks to the first reply for mentioning Griefer being an ally!) ❤

Reading all the dialogue in the mind part of this demo actually broke me. Dealing with depression and feeling you’re always alone is a terrible feeling and letting it out on physical embodiments of these feelings was a nice surprise and was actually kind of relieving.

Idk if anyone saw this, but when you beat greed, solitude and fear, it says that they *collapsed* but, if you beat hatred it says that it became *tame* .

Collapsing doesnt mean dying. It just means being really tired. The player probably is going to stop hearing voices for now, since hatred became tame. For now. (unless its forever)

I'm glad you mentioned fear being more neutral than the others because our fear is derived from instinct. It's meant to help us survive but inhibits us in larger amounts. But while we gave defeated these inner demons, they can't be 100% gone. As, despite these feelings being trivial, they make us human. We must ACCEPT Hatred for what it is instead of killing it. It's the only way we won't become a danger to ourselves.

I like how you went about this. One thing that's also noticeably different is how during the boss battles, all three of your other emotions (Fear, Solitude and Greed) have collapsed and been taken out of the equation permanently, but when you finish off hatred, it says "HATRED became tame!" This could imply that hatred never truly dies and will remain with the player throughout their entire journey, and perhaps rekindle its strength IF the player does not keep it under control. Perhaps the Ghostwalker doesn't let those who are "pure of soul" wield it, but rather lets those who have control over their emotions wield it, which is why we see the player able to hold the Ghostwalker after confronting these negative aspects of themself.

What i noticed while watching this video is when the player first encounters Fear, Builderman's head is twitching and continues after the Fear fight is over when the camera is directed towards Builderman. I honestly did not see this in my own playthrough of the chapter as i was more focused on the dialog than on Builderman, but it is a nice detail to see that theres something fishy going on with Builderman.

I have feeling this is gonna get to the point where it's like solving the five night's at Freddy lore Epic video by the way. there's a lot of thing's I only realised once I watched this like in solitude. builder man is aware of the future. which tells us that he's just with in our mind. and the happiness of a room. what is the sound of joy. Though I always had this idea once that I couldn't get around, how come we still have these feeling's even though we have taken them out, what I'm talking about is the guru, he sense's something is wrong with our soul, my idea is that the sword's still carry voice's which basically we hurt sword's, currently the ice dagger is just insecure. both venom shank and ghost sword are ruthless, would it be typically possible, to even take out hatred? one of the idea's of these is that in the future. you the player couldn't stop hatred. and turned into a monster, however hatred didn't have anyone to hate so it put itself in the heart to unwrap one day, that's where solitude join's, hatred is no longer in control and I believe you go through a heavy depression, and somehow there were either time machine's in that era but future is future and goes back and attempt's to fix there pass.

for the emotions you cant simply kill emotions. unless you physically in the real world and remove parts of your brain. i think you just come to terms with your emotions. and when you beat them in battle you more of trim them and lessen the feelings you have. about your fear your isolation and lonelyness and your greed to get power. but they still exist as in when your about to fight hatred it says. "you feel a chill run up your spine"

The players' lore is seen by cruel king, which is the reason why he wanted to help his people with the ice dagger. He saw the future but got corrupted from the voices only breaking free after we took the ice dagger away from him. Cruel King is my fav character

I absolutely love the feelings' design Greed has infinitely long hands (symbol for wanting to receive) Solitude looks like someone curled up in blankets(hiding oneself and not reaching out) Fear is made up of alot of branches like a tree (a graph of many timelines which MAY lead to possible dangers) While hatred is a broken heart (don't know the meaning yet)

HATRED takes the form of a more devilish figure as the orb you stare at is appropriately named WRATH as HATRED only wants destruction it also never collapsed after the fight IT only becomes tame but HATRED does not stay tame for long as it can be triggered really fast if someone becomes furious over another thing.

Fun fact: when you interact with the npcs(not the enemies) in WRATH, one refers to the swords of time as *The S E V E N* or the *abominations* which means the swords are not from this world and are from dimensions further than this one but hey thats just a theory a block tales theory1!1!1!1! thanks for reading

the others cite Bible verses actually I'm pretty sure they all cite Bible verses the seven can be correlated to the seven trumpets in revelations though it is likely to be used for the context of block tales less being the apocalypse and more being the seven swords as you said

I don't think the abominations refer to the swords as we only have two by the time we reach Wrath. They could be certain emotions or attributes related to the swords. For example, with the Guru, the feeling of being cold is tied to previous wielder of the ice dagger. Cold can refer to both the temperature and the feeling of being distant or apathetic.

Something I noticed about hatred, is that when you defeat it, it says "HATRED became tame!". This usually appears for enemies that will come on later in the future, you can see that most of them had "... has been defeated!" type of message. You didn't defeat Hatred, you just slowed its pace over you.

generally, from what i can tell, "collapsed" is for humanoids and "tame" is for animals, which i guess makes a little sense considering hatred's cat-like appearance but i don't think the lump of blue clay with an eye is exactly a humanoid...

something to add on is that i think that the griefer touched the venomshank before he actually got ahold of it. my reason is because he has it in his home, the fast travel name for the top of the big tree “or where we fight the griefer) is named griefer’s crib, for those who dont know, crib can mean home or house, and knowing griefer, he definitely touched it, so hatred got ahold of him and took control.

i believe by fighting our inner demons and by that i mean redoing the cruel king boss fight we were fighting his hatred over and over again. Until it got defeated to much and it gave up on him. That's why he changed his mind and joined us on our adventure. So that means we purified cruel king and ourselves.

I think honestly the swords overall just amplify the power your emotions have over you I’m pretty sure GREED was the reason we touched the sword in the first place, SOLITUDE clearly is making your character depressed and almost emotionless, FEAR is making you rush your journey to make sure it’s successful, and HATRED is definitely most likely the emotion that becomes the most powerful as it deceives you with delusions and pretends to be someone you can trust in order to slowly give you reasons on why you should HATE. The cruel king could have possibly lost someone like a friend and believes they may be looking out for him by foretelling the future which his HATRED amplified by the IceDagger deceives him with to almost act like an imaginary friend that always knows their problems and the “Cruel” King starts to find a reason to hate YOU the player as he says we have dismantled his guards and instead of rationalizing that we didn’t truly mean any harm and just came for the sword he is overcome by that HATRED and gives in thinking he is doing the right thing where most likely peace would have been an option.

Block tales really went from funni earthbound game to Yume Nikki and Faith: The Unholy Trinity combined. And also Hatred somewhat looks similar to gygas (It's body looks similar to giygas physical form (In the first earthbound (Mother) game, before he distorted) while its color scheme is similar to giygas (Dark red or smth like that) in EarthBound.

i feel like hatred itself is seen in everyone (something about it always being a part of humanity), but with the sword wielders it is more powerful because of the swords (symbolizing the situations they go through and the suffering that comes from it?) i think hatred becomes 'tame' when you defeat it because you cannot truly get rid of it, you can only learn to prevent taking violent actions because of it or something IDK i also find it interesting how you are seen as weak if you show fear, a motivation of the player defeating it could be because of this, they do not want to be seen as weak especially since we are supposed to be the hero of the story unrelated but i looovveeee how this part of the chapter expanded on the players weird unknown background and the implied (before chapter 3) isekai i was starving for more info. in conclusion greed is the best block tales character and you should give it all your tix NOW

I don’t know if this is important but in the mindscape when you’re just fighting some of the enemies there in some of the artwork of the backgrounds, you can actually see Grefer in the cruel king and the girl that popped up in chapter 2 and three, I don’t know if this is important or not, but it seemed interesting. Seeing as you can also see them at the guru and fight them again

Something I haven't seen anybody talk about is that the melody on the guitar that plays during bubonic plant's and hatred's themes are pretty similar, yet completely absent from cruel king's song. This could mean that the cruel king isn't as controlled by hatred. Or just a neat coincidence.

Thats because Cruel King was not manipulated by hatred, as he mentions, he always hear the tormenting voice (Hatred trying to get to him.) although Fear and Solitude. With the fear of the future that he saw and the knowledge only he knows about. That's my take.

Something tells me as well that the guitar solo isn’t Bubonic Plant’s theme but instead HATRED’s as most likely that self sacrifice was HATRED pressuring Brad with certain thoughts such as self destructive thoughts and the whole “Y O U W I L L B E P E R F E C T” from one of the lost souls something tells me Brad had some sort of trauma filled even that caused him to become desperate and as a result he became more independent from his father and as a way to cope with such an event he started drinking tons of witches brew and bloxy cola which could easily stand for some sort of drinking problem as Brad has been confirmed to be 21. I think HATRED did get to the “Cruel” King as well it’s just it only started when we showed up thus not giving HATRED enough time to really set in heck the King tells you that he acted IRRATIONALLY to you and realizes you were never there to hurt in the first place.

I would like to add to this. I think the difficulty of the thoughts has a relationship with the severity of the thoughts. This is shown as hatred being mentioned the most by the npcs and greed and solitude not being mentioned whatsoever and fear being mentioned slightly. Additionally greed and solitude were only provoked by hatred/builderman while fear and hatred were never provoked and occurred naturally.

I have a theory about the character itself Greed: Player wants to achieve a lot, they're capable for many things, and he wants to get more, when you get to the Ghostwalker cutscene, the player is firstly curious and greedy to touch the Ghostwalker. Solitude: The player is from future, the player might fear being watched due to multiple eyes looking at you in the boss fight. Fear: Player fears a lot of things, he gets a lot of terror during the progress of the game, he is scared to die, to fall, to drown, basically anything that can hurt or injure the player. Hatred: Player's anger is uncontrollable, player's hatred is strong, player hates himself for all the thing he has done, he hates himself for evertyhing, he regretes all the actions he has done. Answer: The player is in his mind now, to defeat all the emotions, to be pure, he wants to remove all of the suffering he has been through, and he ends it, the pain, the suffer, now it's all have gone to an end. Do I have a good theory?

I think it was obvious that these bosses are obviously not dead like some people think they are for some reason, through the ghostwalker we purify our soul so we can wield it. Haven’t seen many people say this yet, but you can see Hatred before you even fight them. Certain dialogues in the Manor have a certain someone’s red text, and some dialogues say something seems wrong/off with the player. I thought this was such a cool detail, and made my theorizing much more fun when I was in my playthrough.

Here's my small little theory of Greed: I think that not only Greed is selfish, but also represents the player's ego. The not-so-very-healthy joy player gets when taking down a very threatening or annoying boss (Example: Sentinent Statue, Komodo, Mosquitoes, etc.). In one of Greed's dialouges, they say "A master of one-thousand hands! That's me!" That could be taken litterally, as the BC of the battle are a thousand hands, but seeing how happy and egotistical Greed is in the dialouge, he could also be Ego.

I was replaying Block Tales and I remembered that the snowmen know of the player's struggle, in one snowman it says "it knows of your struggle" other snowman says "you got what you wanted, yet you yearn to go back?, curious". This reveals that the player wanted to go to 2010 without thinking, and now the player just wants to go back to it's original time, the snowmen revealed part of the lore of demo 3 in demo 1

I may be drastically over thinking this, but something that I found pretty interesting (and what no one else seems to have noticed) was that when we talk to Kyoko for the second time and select the "tell her the truth" option, when she says that the weight of the swords on the player is painful, I've noticed that the colors of the letters correspond to the negative emotions. The first two letters, S and W are red and yellow for hatred and greed, and the last two letters, R and D are blue and purple, for Solitude and Fear. But the letter O is green. And we've never seen an emotion that was green. My personal theory is that the green emotion is actually a good or positive emotion that is awakened after defeating the other negative emotions. I know this might seem like a stretch and I could be over thinking this but I wanna know what other people think about this.

It might sound dumb but I was playing block tales because I’m a huge fan of it, when demo 3 came out I was going through a lot of bullying and the game being “silly” helped me to have a bit of fun, during the ending part though I admit to crying a lot. It may have been the moment I was in but the comments after greed but especially solitude and fear really hit hard for me. I love this game.

2:13 My personal take on this is that we don't remove these traits, but embrace them. For example: Player is greedy and they know it, but they also refuse to admit it so they do it only when nobody is watching (for example, we try to pick up ghostwalker only after Terry leaves). But after defeating Greed, Player just won't care that he's greedy and that everyone will see him as greedy, that's just who he truly is. But I think there will be a moment when Player won't be able to not care and will have conflicting feelings about being greedy once again.

Im not seeing anyone talking about this, but I've notice that after defeating Hatred, when the screen is still black, it shows hatred saying your name, and then shows the chef saying your name once you wake up.
Another thing with hatred its death message it "hatred has been tamed" whereas the other emotions actually leave our soul meaning that your point that hatred will come back isn't a hypothetical universe cause its going to happen

During the cloud-corridor section near spawn of Dream World there's this silhouette of a person with an umbrella which is revealed after defeating the first three bosses. Maybe it's a minor emotion? (Imma copy paste this here rq since this was from an animation vid and not a theory) Since were here - heres a theory of mine: The reason why hatred also disguises as builder man is because the player despises them - the first time the player wakes up in terry's bed they said something to terry that made him say 'huh? builderman? kidnapping? Time Travel?' theory is that the player was kidnapped to fix the past by Builderman himself I mean who shows up and agrees on- 'hey want to travell back in time on where you cant probably come back to your family to fix some problem?" only contradiction is the snowman one of them said 'this is what you wanted isnt it?' saying that the player agreed willingly and wasnt forced to- also I theorize that the player is male from the audio of the training wheels most likely a college student from the fact they solve a college problem easily and they have teachers mentioned from 'builderman' during the 'dont you miss-' part it isnt mentioned that the player has a lover in that part so theyre most likely single aswell [that means Player X Kyoko without all of the 'dating' drama >:] just the possibility of the timeline shifting too much o-o"] so this places the player around their early 20's it would be weird for cruel king to call a 30 year old 'kiddo' plus it makes sense since if they were a child they would be the size of red and blue

I got some short theories on some of these emotion, and ourselves. And I would like to share them with everyone My theory on Greed: Notice How Most of us(I mean literally. In real life) wants to get some really rare cards such as "Call:Gorilla:" and "Free Poisons"? It's possible that upon killing the enemy holding it. We snatch that card/Item from them. This is why Greed's arms are hella long. Updates 1: After reading the wiki. When we kill an enemy. We gain the tix they drop. By Gaining. It's an opposite to this enemy. When he did the stretchy solution. For as long as that effect is on. It will keep on stealing your tixs. Just like killing the enemies for tixs My Theory on Solitude: As a kid in real life. We are scared of interacting with strangers. So does our player. We Rarely Interact with NPCs who does or doesn't want to help us. Such as Banished knight in the manor. We tend to ignore them. Thus, Solitude was born. and the more we don't interact with others. the more scared we get(or Scopophobia) My Theory on Fear: Some people Are scared of Fighting strong enemies, Entering Unknown, Horror places, and Seeing those disgusting face. So we Hide somewhere they can't see. This is why Fear Almost look like a tree and tend to guide us to so called "safety to not get lost" My Theory on Hatred: Just like Covid-19. This Never goes away. As HATE Always comes back. You begin to love the game because you got the ghostwalker, but begins to hate the game for lack of updates. Just like what this youtuber says. It tends to take over you. On the topic of Griefer hearing voices before he got the Venomshank, it's probably because he touched the sword before the player arrived in the jungle. He literally has a bed, computer setup, card collection and jail cell in the same room it was being kept in, so he'd probably been there for a little while and would have had plenty of opportunities to make contact with it. In that case, the only reason why he wouldn't take it then and there would be the seal preventing anyone but Builderman and the Mayor from pulling it from the stone, hence why he became violent and forced the Mayor into drawing the sword.

Demo 4 probably gonna be the ship because of the dock and the firebrand could mean that you use fire to fight water monsters. also if the sword of time having hatred in them is true then I think in the chapterafter you get all swords when you give the swords to Shedletsky he will get manipulated by hatred and you will have to fight Shedletsky with the 7 swords while having Terry as your teammate. Or maybe Shedletsky reaveals that he teleported you here to get the swords for him and try to kill you after you gave him the swords (This will probably be the case because of how when you are brought to blocktales, you instantly have a letter from him telling you to go visit him) and again, with Terry as your teammate In the same or next chapter to that, Terry or Jerry might take all the Swords and fight you. If Jerry is the one that took the swords, you and Terry would fight him If Terry took the swords, you would brutally lose and then Jerry would have to step in. After getting all of the swords back, the ending would probably be a soul knight ending where you use the swords of time to sucessfully go back to the current time but in the process, reversing time in Blocktales, making another player have to do the same thing you did and the process repeat over and over again. Or maybe the ending will be you have a choice to do the previous ending or not use the swords to go back to the present and stay in Blocktales, breaking the loop of players having to find swords.

I like to think the order we fight greed, solitude, fear and hatred has meaning. We fight greed first, as the whole reason we are there was because we were greedy. We fight solitude next because we start to feel alone, with only “builder man” to repeat the same few lines. Next, fear because we begin to distrust “builder man” and in extent fear them. And when hatred appears, we feel HATE for being deceived and tricked.

I know this might be a bit late. But better late than never. My theory on Blocktales chapter 3 is kinda built upon other theories. The theory that the player is from the future is what everyone believes is true and that HATRED is their own self hatred. If the player is from the future, they should know what the Ghostwalker does to people with unpure souls. They would've already known before the Ghost Chef tells them. The player touche the Ghostwalker on purpose, they wanted to purify their soul so the future doesn't replay itself. Their emotions Greed, Solitude, and Fear may stem from what has happened in the future. Greed may have come from wanting more power and that would mean they eventually got their hands on all seven of the swords. Solitude might come from how empty the future world has become. They player might've destroyed the world in their pursuit of the swords and once they got all seven, they realized how lonely they are now. Fear is kinda self explanatory. It could be a fear of dying during battles or fear of failing their mission of collecting the swords. Or what I think, is a fear of being alone again. We were tasked for collecting the swords which we've done in the future. The player might fear that they will fall under the influence of the swords and destroy the world again, thus leaving them all alone once more. Hatred is their self hatred, and the enemies it spawns, the Apparitions, is what we see ourselves as. Hollow, empty beings who only know how to hack and slash. And I agree with the theory that HATRED is the player's will to die. As it tries to kill us. HATRED definitely hides away in the swords, waiting to corrupt it's wielders. As we tamed our hatred, it will come back. Now that it can't corrupt us, it will use the other sword wielders to try and defeat us.

We don't actually kill hatred we tame him which that means he's not truly dead if you don't count the fact that there might be more hatreds in the swords

I love how fear is the only emotion that tryna help and warn us. But like fear say, we were manipulated by hatred and fear have to fight us back for self defense. Ngl i feels bad for killing bro i hope there somewhere in a future where fear would try to help us if we have to confront other emotions again

i have a theory tho it dosent have to do with the player or the emotions like hatred,instead it has to do with blue red uncle noobador green and purple and basically i think theres gonna be a pink noob.let me explain. basically in demo 3 on the train we pretty much see the whole noob family (or do we?) and heres where stuff gets crazy. we already know blue and red have an uncle (noobador) but during the purple and green fight if you kill green first purple says ''HOW DARE YOU KILL YOUR OWN FATHER LIKE THAT?'' which pretty much says that green is noobadors brother but also red and blues father. now here is where stuff gets even crazier. in the same room where you meet everyone there is a board on the wall that has 6 colors of pins. the pins are:blue,red,green,purple,yellow(noobador),and pink. the pins are also linked to their closest ally/friend/family member for example:yellow and green are paired eachother cuz they are brothers, blue and red are paired up cuz they are siblings, and then purple is paired up with a pink pin. also just to further confirm that there is gonna be a pink noob heres proof:when you fight bosses they are normal but if you go to a party and help someone do the story mode while you have already done it you still play BUT bosses appear vanished bcuz they will never appear again/died.however that dosent work with purple.if you refight green and purplegreen is a ghost but purple is completly fine . so i think purple is gonna be matched with a pink noob.if you do any further research on this please let me know in the replies.

If Hatred is truely the final boss of the game then it could mean that HE might be the one using the swords of time to control the sword guardians. However he failed to off Brad due to still being alive. If Brad shows up in the final chapter and helps the player as well as others who have been alive even after what happened then they can be used as summons to support the player. That and getting the final sword energy just like in paper Mario I do believe. Still… if this game is successful and gets a sequel then partners might appear

Notice how shedelsky refers to the antagonist as them, in a dark red color he also refers to us with our own unique usernames, but in the same dark red color.

I have a theory that someones HATRED against builderman made them kidnap him as when Shedletsky tells us builderman got kidnapped, the word kidnap was in maroon which is HATRED’s colour

Solitude fight of the eyes staring at the player also represents in the game when we pass by the npc's they would stare at us.

There's actually some really interesting dialogue I found in the manor (non haunted version) If you go to the balcony area and talk to the two boys who want to TP the manor, you see a crimson text telling you something along the lines of "hurry up" or "stop wasting time" I'm assuming the influence of Hatred grew stronger to the point where it could be heard by us (or in our case, read)
