When setting you wanna use your fingers only instead of your palms, the reason why the slapping noise is happening is because you are flat palming the ball and flipping it up. Don't worry we all did it when we started, I suggest watching people like coach Donny (aka Elevate Yourself) or watching coach Artie as these guys help tremendously in beginner to even intermediate techniques in volleyball. I can’t wait to see you make more progress! I also suggest watching coach Donny with elevate yourself he has some great technique and basic elements of training that would help you tremendously! One more thing i suggest is that when you pass instead of shrugging your shoulders or pushing in the pass, use your legs to push the ball out its way easier for forward passing and movement. Stay consistent!

Also the sets your doing right now would cause some trouble in games bc they spin (gets called as a double)

You should try to learn the positions and pick the one youd like to play and try to focus more on improving those skills
