I have a theory: The strange expression on the dog's face might be that of pain. That undescribable haunting noise might be a final cry for help. Those two might be shots in the dark but hear me out. Dogs do drool and slobber a lot. Usually out of excitement. That puppy was excited to pose for the "Please stand by" screen that his drool seeped into the wires of the plug, causing the dog to get shocked. The pupils getting smaller could indicate that the pup realized something's gone horribly wrong as he starts to feel a shock in his mouth. And, the dog's expression the author can't understand. I theorize it to signify the dog is in serious pain, and that the indescribable haunting noise is the dog calling for help. Finally, the dog's disappearance. I theorize that in the, I guess cartoon universe they're shooting the please stand by in, the people shooting it got extremely horrified, picking up the poor dog and rushing it to a nearby veterinary hospital out of sheer terror and concern for the animal. But hey, that's just a theory.

Wait a minute, I just realized that the plug disappeared at 2:08, so that means that the dog swallowed the plug electrocuting him, that's why it's eyes became spread apart at 2:08
