"Okay, I've got an idea for a game. It's a cutesy artsy game where you play out a story book." "Neat. What's the gameplay?" "Well, mostly classic Zelda." "Mostly?" "Also some Mario levels." "Okay, I can see how that works--" "Also a bit of Punchout." "So we're putting the whole NES library into this one. Any other games you want to mix in?" "...Baba is You?"

@GemniTwin7201Ай бұрын
No legal way to play it really so don't think that is happening. Never on computers.
@hitomisalazar4073Ай бұрын
@@GemniTwin7201 Technically entirely legal to play it over emulators if you owned a legal copy. At least in the US. Not sure how the UK ruled on it. At least that was the court ruling when the legality of emulators and ROMs in the US was brought up back in the tail end of the 90s to establish the precedent. Not that it doesn't stop some companies from basically threatening law suits and trying to bog down people into forcing a settlement of course. Because some use the courts as a means to try just try to bleed someone dry into submission. And why they stall it out instead of going to court where they'd probably lose over the established ruling. Which I guess he'd be familiar with as a KZbinr as plenty of companies try to use the Copyright Strike system in a similar way. Claiming things they have no claim on just to get the money while the claim is in place even if they're going to lose it on eventual review. Well that and Lufia II isn't even an expensive game to get hold of. Like 20 USD on the secondary market.
