Plucky Squire is great, but you forgot A Link Between Worlds when bringing up which games let you go 2D to accomplish things before this.

You're right! There's a lot of games that have done it actually! So I'm hoping that the point of the video isn't to show that this is the first game to do it, but instead that it does it in a new and fresh way. (i.e. using a storybook as a medium) I appreciate the comment!

Plucky squire is apsolute trash. Gameplay constantly interrupted by stupid tutorials and unnecessary dialogue. Difficulty is fir 1 yr olds, astrobot is dark souls compared to it. Good ideas but bad game
