I used to read all the time, but my eyesight and physical problems make it difficult for me to read much comfortably. Of course I tried some audio books, but unfortunately the droll narrator would just put me to sleep. So far I'm enjoying these stories because even though he doesn't really use inflection in his speech, it's not totally boring. Thanks I'm looking forward to many more creepy stories.

It use to, for tens of thousands of years ask the local natives, when the Brits first showed up they laughed, then a century or 2 passed and the bones of said "monsters" were dug up thus backing up all the native tribal histories of Australia and those giant monsters they fought almost daily, were hunted by and so hunted themselves.

The person died two days earlier. The man who got attacked. Could smell the rotten flesh of the magot riddled body miles away. Wafting threw the mountains. So it was to late for last rights. And the red bearded guy was not seen by the priest when he turned around to see the man one last time. Had run real fast away having been swarmed by all the flies that the magots created on the rotten bloated bodies juices. That had flowed out of the eye sockets and every opening on the dead body. So he decided to just pray for the person who died. Rather then deal with that awful rotten stench looking at the dead rotted body. He had given it a very good try getting there. There was some talk. That he would wait till the following year when the body would be totally deflated. And with beetles and other insects and rodents eating the skin off to the bone. And chewing up the dried up guts. That he might go back. He just was not sure. Of course that is the last I personally heard. But then again having made this comment all up. He could have or not have gone back.

1. Who tf belongs to a church that is a 3 day walk from their house? 2. The church couldn't afford the priest a donkey for the trip? 3. Being that it had to be the only dwelling for miles and miles, wouldn't it be safe to assume "Samca" ate dude months ago? 4. Even if 3 were true, wouldn't the obvious thing be to hire the guy who saved him as a guide and protector for the short remainder of his trip? 5. If the man killed the possessed body his daughter allegedly once occupied, where did the demon go? Shouldn't it have tried to possess the nearest person? 6. Being that the common people in the 1600s would have been highly superstitious, and that the inquisitions were a raging, why tf was the priest not required to be a capable exorcist prior to being sent on a 3 day walk into the dense forest alone? 7. Who delivered the message to the church, a homing pigeon? Or did dude walk three days to Sunday mass to tell the priest himself, before he walked three days back home and then prepare to die while waiting for the no show priest? 8. Shouldn't the girl's body also have turned to stone next the other former possessee? Sorry if I ruined it for anybody, lol. Cheers!

I did some research and the Samca is an evil demon witch from Romanian Folklore. It was said the creature was even used by Satan to try and kill Jesus as an infant until the Archangel Michael defeated her. Its kind of strange that Samca wouldn't be known to a Romanian. Also, Pneuma is Greek for "soul". So the names are incompatible. Unless the Priest believed this Samca was actually a demonized human soul.

God, i love these stories.religion is such utter bullshit, praying on fear to keep one in the pasture. I always laugh that Satan, God's most beautiful and beloved of his angels, gets cast out for questioning God, decides to become the most hideous evil being imaginable.
