Too much beaver

I live less than 30 miles away from this area. I’m 73 years old and a 5th generation inhabitant. There was no white presence here in 1815, and I’ve never heard any fairy tales about anything like this from either my family or the native tradition. We DO lose people - mostly tourists - every year every year who just seemingly vanish. There’s all sorts of so speculation as to what happens to them. From Bigfoot to alien abduction to human trafficking to serial killers. But no kind of tale that lines up with this one.

Am I the only one who realized that DCLXCI is 666 in Roman numerals? Okay, actually, I googled it, but still... Well, now I know what tattoo i definitely need.

Are these stories really true?

I listened to the first story I saw on your channel tonight, “Judith” it was amazing and I’ve subscribed.

Creepy to say the least. I was interested that they didn't accuse Lane of taking the children but told him to leave. I was raised on a dairy farm. The chute was on the outside of the silo and inside the dairy barn. There was a ladder to allow the person to climb up and shovel the silage down. It was then fed to the waiting dairy cattle. There were a series of doors that would be removed as the level of silage went down over the months. Lots of memories...of the farm.

Was Bob hanged for crimes he didn't commit? Odd but why would he mutilate the bodies and leave them? Were there tracks and marks to show where the mule was dragged into the river? Why not kill and run? Too many questions in my mind.

First, I complement you on the use of text to tell the story. My experience with closed caption hasn't been good as words are misspelled, even the same word misspelled several times. The story is definitely frightening but the recorded conversation of the local man confirms the fact we don't know what lurks in the world. I have read several books written by or about white hunters (hunting guides) in Africa. Their encounters with the paranormal causes one to stop and think.

That story was great.i couldn't wait to see what happened .very strange and thrilling.

Had a hard time getting into story as it sounds to me like AI in monotone drone. Just not my cup of horror.Goodluckwith your channel as you have lots of enthusiastic fans. I didn't even know the narrator wax supposed to be a young girl til I heard the name.
