I have the pocket shot , I really love taking it out when we're kayaking and we take a break , and I whip this out and shoot at cans and stuff . It's fun as hell !! Think I'm gonna wait till they come out with there arrows and then get it . Great video Ben .

I have two sizes of steel balls. They fire very hard out of the regular pocket shot. didn't try them yet out of this but it might hit the ring because you draw so far back, i cracked the ring on one of mine shooting marbles.

Congrats man! Just manage to hit a target on 10 meters with my transformer arrow shooting a slingshot. But not satisfied with the power. Start thinking about improving power and may transform my other round tube slingshot into an arrow shooter. I see yours is the same and works just fine.

Good on you for making good on that watermelon, Ben! Even if it wasn't bad on principle to waste food, it's a badass food-and-drink combo all in one :D The red pouch also allows you to shoot rocks/ball bearings/slingshot ammo of your choice, with a bit more accuracy at that. It's easier to line up the shot with the longer pull.

Enjoying all of the archery and new gear. This stuff is great! Would love to get more into archery, but I have enough on my plate as is. Always loved the concept of hunting with a bow, rather than a firearm. Firearms seem to defeat the purpose of the real challenge to hunt. I'm not a sporting hunter myself, but would do so in a survival scenario. Very compact with relatively similar accuracy, it seems. Nice shot on the soda can! Does it give you calluses or blisters? Better with gloves? Thanks for all of the hard work you put into your channel and videos. Certainly admire it and always value your feedback. Cheers!

the glove is for the traditional recurve bow. not needed for the pocket shot. the most effective way to hunt in my opinion is a crossbow and they are making them smaller and smaller these days.

a knife is a no brainer. the choice of a saw or axe is up to the person. in the winter I carry an axe. in the summer a saw.

Interesting concept! How long did it take to adapt traditional archery technique to the pocket shot and achieve accurate shots? Also, what kind of compound bow are you hunting with?

you're seeing how long. first time using it. i don't hunt with compound anymore. I hunt with a ten point crossbow. when I did I had a matthews and a parker.
