I consider this one of the greatest compositions of any musical genre. Tuomas wrote his heart out with words and music and it shows. I consistently get a knot in my throat every time I hear this song. With all the garbage that flies around Nightwish (and their vocalists). This song singularly proves that Anette was more than capable of capturing Tuomas's genius. Now on to this cover.... I was floored, totally. The harmonies thrown in where none were before was magnificent. The vocal blend between each singer was also extremely well done. The talent individuality and collectively of these four women is 10/10. Sorry I got so long winded in my comment but this was an absolutely fantastic cover of an amazing song. BRAVO !!!! P.s. New Sleeping Romance soon please !?!!

Holy sweet mother of the freaking gods! Where in the back alleys of “Bombast” has this wonderwork been hiding for the past couple of years??? “The Poet And The Pendulum” is a symphonic metal masterpiece, a monumental “monster” of a song, alive with a super-storming vital force of its own creation! It’s one of my absolute favorite (non-classical) compositions. As such, I’m stunned - nearly into silence, wholly into shame - that I didn’t know of the existence of this version until just now! Individually, the singers, each after their own fashion, are phenomenal. Together, they’re triumphantly fantastic, a furious force that sings and screams and swarms the sonorous soul of the song. That’s what makes this - immediately, yet without a doubt - the best performance of “The Poet” I’ve ever heard!

I have always wondered if the intro to this song could be performed by an adult. Frederica, you nailed it! I didn't see in the credits how the background illustrations were done - sometimes appearing as deep space, sometimes fluid as an ocean - perfect for this song! I love Melissa's growl of Hietla's lines and the uniqueness Alessia and Angela's voices bring to their parts. Please PLEASE keep collaborations like this coming!!! We love it!!!

I see Federica and then Melissa, which made me think of Morten and Amaranthe. Then MARKIE Official of Alia Tempora also leaves a comment. But as far as I know she's a friend of Elize of Amaranthe (again). Now, Federica is a member of Volturian where Federico is the guitarist, also guitarist of Frozen Crown . I just love how all these favorite bands (plus connections with the other singers which I didn't happen to know until today) are somehow "connected" in this big metal family! If only there was a festival with them all!!! I can't really say anything new about the cover which hasn't already been said though. It's amazing!

When I first heard your work with Sleeping Romance, I was amazed at the music stylistically, but the more I hear your vocals, the more convinced I am that you have worked very hard to hone and perfect that talent/gift. He has recently made a interview with Melissa,Nik and Korbinian from Ad Infinitum,and we made them feel welcomed,relaxed,and made them smile and laugh alot.
