I get that "its difficult to go to the events" twice I've qualified to the VGC World but with no money to afford the travel.

Can you do another video where you set yourself a budget and had to build a deck with it since I and I assume many others enjoyed it a lot but this time ask the audience what Pokemon you are building your strategy this time (I am new and I'm trying to get into the tcg I have played a bit online but I play a deck that is no longer in standard and I am feeling lost on what to build since I'm also very broke)

Tom Roos did play at State Championship in Finland in 2012, he got 2nd. I don't know if he played anything after that though. And 2nd at 2011 nationals.

good knowledge I missed that! Getting info on old events can be tricky :(

There was already a european world champion in 2006, another Finnish player named Miska Saari, in the senior division. So a lot of the ending isn't correct. And Tom didnt disappear, he even got 2nd in Finnish national championships in 2011.
