Just so everyone here knows, here’s a list of outcomes that can be achieved in this game. When you’re steering the train through the ice, a correct sequence will result in these lines of dialogue: 1. The ice is cracking! Keep going! 2. We’re headed right for the tracks! 3. We’re on target. 4. Good job. 5. You’re doing well, don’t lose focus. 6. Almost there…Steady now. 7. You’re a born engineer, kid! 8. It’s getting complicated now. Good focus… But you can only make a mistake twice during that round, or else you’ll have to start over. A mistake will lead to these lines of dialogue: 1. OH NO, WE’RE OFF COURSE! To adjust for the mistake, the combination is going to change. Pay attention- you’ll do fine. 2. I don’t think we’ll be able to compensate for the skidding. Try again; I’m sure you’ll guide us straight if you give it another go. When dropping presents, a present dropped into a chimney will lead to these lines (NOTE: numbers 1-5 indicate the types of houses where these lines are spoken: use this video as a reference point). 1. Great drop! 2. That’s going to be one happy kid. 3. You’re becoming a pro! 4. Looks like Katie’s going to get just what she wanted this year. 5. Down the chimney and right under the tree! When coal is dropped at the right house: 1. Maybe Timmy will try harder next year to get on the nice list. 2. Hopefully that coal will keep her from teasing her sister! 3. Bullies will never be on the nice list! 4. Nice timing. 5. That coal will disappoint…but HE shouldn’t be surprised. However if you hit the wrong button for the wrong wreath, one of four lines can be spoken. When you deliver a present to a house that’s supposed to get coal: 1. Santa doesn’t wanna reward the naughty with nice present (spoken in houses 2 and 4) 2. Some nice kid is gonna miss out this year (houses 1, 3, and 5) When coal is delivered to a house that’s supposed to get a present: 1. (Whoops) I think that nice kid will wonder what they did wrong this year! (Houses 2 and 4, Whoops is heard on House 4). 2. Coal probably wasn’t on that kid’s list this year…(Houses 1, 3, and 5). If you press the correct button too soon, whatever you’re supposed to drop will just bounce of the house roof and land in the snow. When a present misses the chimney. 1. Not quite under the tree, guess that kid will find his in the snow…! 2. OOPS! Let’s hope there was nothing fragile in that one! 3. Not quite under the tree… 4. Same as house 2 except for the “OOPS”. 5. OOPS! When coal misses the chimney. 1. Close, but that naughty kid needs to be taught a lesson. (Houses 1 and 3) 2. Nice try, but let’s make it in the chimney next time. (Houses 2, 4, and 5) If you forget to press anything, the narrator will remind you to drop something: 1. You’re not doing your job if nothing is falling from the sky…(Houses 1 and 4). 2. Quicker next time on the drops! We’ve got to get these delivered! (Houses 3 and 5). 3. Remember to drop something, otherwise kids will think Santa forgot them. (House 2). 3 mistakes in this round means you have to try again from the first house. P. S., not all of House 5’s lines are accessible in the game: that house only appears once during the round (you have to drop coal at that house normally). However, on some DVD players, you can access the normally inaccessible lines at that house by pressing the NEXT CHAPTER/PREVIOUS CHAPTER buttons while a house’s animation is in play. You can also hit the NEXT CHAPTER button to skip a house on some players: just remember- no matter what color wreath flashes, the animation for the house you just skipped will be played instead of the intended animation. This doesn’t break the game by any means, though.

Is it actually possible to trigger the missing the chimney stuff? I've been trying since I found the scenes while playing with the chapter go-to, but even pressing the button right as the wreath spawns I've never been able to trigger a missing the chimney outcome.
