In September of 1993, The Police released a massive boxset entitled "Message in a Box: The Complete Recordings" which featured every studio album along with non-album singles, B-sides, some live oddities and the tracks the trio worked on for the "Brimstone and Treacle" soundtrack in 1982. While it's not EVERY official recording the Police has release, the majority of it is here in a quite nice remastered format too. The Police discography was reissued again quite recently in 2019 with a bonus disc called "Flexible Strategies" included with it; while the bonus disc has quite a lot of rarities (mostly all the B-sides released) it didn't feature the majority of other tracks that are present in this boxset! So as per norm, I found the "Box" online and I'm now reuploading those tracks, enjoy!
"I Burn for You" was a song Sting had presented for inclusion in the band's third album "Zenyatta Mondatta" but it was deemed unsuitable for the musical direction the band was taking and rejected. It was later years 2 years afterwards for the "Brimstone & Treacle" soundtrack in 1982 was included in maxi-single of "Wrapped Around Your Finger". The song is probably the most well-known out of the songs the Police offered for the soundtrack but again hasn't seen a re-release in ages.
