The Police - King of Pain (Guitar Cover)

This is my favourite song from the band, and also of Sting's work. I was originally thinking of Leppardizing it but after watching them play it on their reunion tour, I thought it would be better to cover it properly and incorporate some of Andy's live playing. Speaking of that reunion performance, I think they sounded incredible and Andy filled out the tracks beautifully with his playing and tone. Sure, there's the odd backing track here and there, but they do an amazing job considering they're only a 3 piece.
I have attempted to set up my Boss to have a similar chorus-y flanger sound that Andy so famously got from his Electric Mistress. I've never been into flangers but I've come to really like this type of sound, even though my Boss cannot get anywhere near such a luscious sound. But I think it does okay for now (I play an example of the tone right after the fadeout).
I use a Jackson DK2 Dinky from 2004 (I removed the tone pot and moved the volume over) into a Boss Me50 (where I get my tone) into a Palmer Pdi-09 (which simulated a mic'd up cab) into a Focusrite Scarlett into my computer running Logic Pro X (where I add a little EQ and Reverb).
