(I work in a big parking lot) I really don’t understand how people can walk through an entire store but can’t walk 10 feet to put it away. I have really bad arthritis in my hips that makes it extremely difficult to walk at the end of a shift. There's always some clown leaving their carts in one of the first spots, and they park on the COMPLETE opposite of the parking lot. There's also employees of that grocer that park there FOR NO REASON. These people are all crappy excuses for human beings. I'm glad there's a dude out there annoying the shit out of them. People need to stop justifying it by saying, "Oh, they get paid to take the carts back!" No, they're getting paid to run registers or stock shelves. You're just giving them more work...OTOH, I've spoken to several employees about it, and they don't mind because it gets them fresh air. I have genuinely never disagreed with Joe before… but this argument makes no sense. Sure they pay people to get the carts, but that’s the point of the cart return, so the employees can take them back inside for the customers convenience. An analogy comparing it to a janitor is perfect (Joe said it made no sense) just because you see a janitor sweeping trash, doesn’t mean you just toss your garbage onto the floor, you place it into the trash can so he can easily clean it, just like the cart return for the cartboys. It’s like an argument that a Karen would make just to justify her being and awful human being.
