That’s what they want so they can turn the horse their way for a photo, and so they will look in control. Too many tourists don’t show respect for the horses and guards and think they’re just there for their photos. 😡

Why don't they put painted lines onto the sidewalk, extending from the "box" that the horse stands in, like in a parking lot, and make those lines far enough from the horse on three sides that people are not to go past and also not able to reach the horse to touch it? The problem with most people is you "can't fix stupid" so you have to keep trying to come up with ideas to help deter them.

Oh I know the ceremonial uniforms are for special jobs and ceremonies, but when you see the idiotic fashions there are today. In both men and women, there is no pride at all any more, the people mostly walk around like rag bags at even charity shops wouldn't want..
